NEWS
War Machine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson), who signed with NXT earlier this year, made their official NXT in-ring debuts on the March 22nd live event in Jacksonville, FL. They were not announced as War Machine and Hanson was announced as Todd Smith.

A. J. Styles was possibly injured during his match tagging with Shinsuke Nakamura against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn at the March 17th WWE live event at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. He did not appear at a WWE live event in Odessa, TX. Styles was advertised to compete in another tag team match alongside Nakamura against Owens & Zayn, but Styles was replaced by Randy Orton in the match.

Jerry Lawler announced on his latest episode of the "Dinner With The King" podcast that he will be travelling to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia along with fellow Jim Ross to provide commentary for The Greatest Royal Rumble event. The show will be taking place on April 27th from the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, a 60,000-seater that WWE hopes to fill up. The show will be broadcast live on the WWE Network and last week, WWE’s United Kingdom broadcast partner Sky also announced that they would be airing the show on their pay-per-view platform Sky Sports Box Office. The show will air live in Saudi Arabia as well. Sky lists the historic event as starting at 5pm GMT, which would make that 12 noon Eastern on Friday. This will be the first of many special events that WWE will be holding in Saudi Arabia over a period of 10 years, a multi-million dollar deal that WWE signed earlier this month with the Kingdom.

WWE Network will air "The Greatest Royal Rumble" on April 27th. Confirmed talents to appear at the event include John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, A. J. Styles, Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Shinsuke Nakamura, and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, & Xavier Woods).

Though details on the injury that kept A. J. Styles out of action on last weekend’s house shows still isn’t known, Dave Meltzer noted that Styles was examined Monday and will be good to go for WrestleMania 34.

ShowBuzz Daily reported that this week’s Impact Wrestling, which featured EC3’s final televised appearance with the company, and the return of Abyss and Monster’s Ball, averaged 362,000 viewers. This week’s viewership average is up from last week’s 350,000 viewership average.
