NEWS
HBO released the second trailer of their upcoming Andre the Giant documentary which will premiere on April 10th, two days after WrestleMania 34. The new trailer features comments by Hulk Hogan, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, Hollywood movie star and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Robin Wright, the actress who plays Claire Underwood in Netflix's "House of Cards" and who played the role of Buttercup in "The Princess Bride" movie along with Andre. WWE is set to give the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal some extra importance this year at WrestleMania in order to plug the documentary, which they helped produce with HBO and Bill Simmons Media Group. Ethan Carter III, the former Impact Wrestling champion, made his NXT in-ring return Thursday night at one of the small non-televised live event shows in Dade City, FL. The 34-year-old wrestled Kassius Ohno in his first NXT match in five years, and came out victorious. EC3 last appeared in NXT in May 2013 using the name of Derrick Bateman. The two had a match against each other that year when they were participating in opposing teams in the NXT Tag Team Title Tournament. His last match was against the then NXT champion Big E, a match taped for NXT television. EC3 will be part of the six-man ladder match at "NXT Takeover: New Orleans" to crown the new NXT North American champion.

Major League Wrestling's "Spring Break" event in Orlando, FL on Thursday night was taped for television. They are doing a series of 60 minute shows with Tony Schiavone and Rich Bocchini as the announcers. Dan Bynum, who was the director of World Class Championship Wrestling is directing, Charlie Bruuzzese of ECW was there as a Producer, as was Bruce Prichard at Senior Producer according to PW Insider. An announcement of the TV is expected soon

Jeff Jarrett appeared at Tuesday night’s Nashville Predators hockey game.

Mick Foley has announced he will be performing a one man talk show in Australia in July. He will be in Perth on July 17th, Adelaide on the 18th, Hobat on the 19th, Melbourne on the 20th, Sydney on the 21st, and Brisbane on the 22nd.

After undergoing the first of two eye surgeries that he’s scheduled for this month, Jim Ross tweeted that the surgery was a success but he can’t see well out of his right eye currently. He mentioned that it will hopefully be better in a few days.

Oklafan congratulates Ray Martinez, who recently surpassed 6 months as BPPW Oklahoma Champion. He defeated Brandon Groom for the title on September 9, 2017 at an event in Bristow.
