It looks like Jim Ross, who was fired from WWE after he failed to maintain control at the WWE 2K14 30 Years of WrestleMania Synopsium during the SummerSlam 2013 weekend while he was the symposium moderator, is back on good terms with WWE. WWE is promoting JR’s “Ringside with Ross” show during Survivor Series 2016 weekend.

WWE had a victory in court this past week in getting the concussion class action suit transferred to Judge Vanessa Bryant's court. Bryant has in the past made favorable rulings in WWE's favor on other concussion suits regarding cases being time barred. Based on her own past rulings, virtually every case would be thrown out. The case is headed by James Laurinaitis (Road Warrior Animal), Jimmy Snuka, Paul Orndorff, Butch Reed and 50 other former wrestlers. WWE is also trying to get the Buff Bagwell/Raven case regarding WWE Network royalties transferred to Bryant's court.

Among the attendees of the invitation only tryout at NXT was Jacob Fatu, the nephew of Rikishi. He is the son of Sam Fatu who competed in WCCW as The Samoan Savage and in WWF as The Tonga Kid and Tama of The Islanders.

Gail Kim was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Sunday’s "Bound For Glory" pay-per-view event, becoming the first female inductee. Christy Hemme, Taryn Terrell, Awesome Kong, and Dixie Carter all helped with the induction ceremony before Kim came out to accept the honor. The 16-year veteran thanked a whole bunch of people including Pat Kenney, Dutch Mantell, Jeff Jarrett, Scott D’Amore, and even WWE’s Fit Finlay. Kim also had a shout out for Trish Stratus, Victoria, Jazz, and Molly Holly who helped her during her time in WWE. Kim’s night got even better later on as she defeated Maria to win the TNA Knockouts Title. She is now a 6-time Knockouts Champion. You can see the whole 18-minute segment by clicking here.

On the latest episode of Ric Flair's podcast, the former 16-time World champion revealed one James Bond girl who “rode Space Mountain.” When asked if there were any famous celebrities he slept with, Flair said that “several dozen” did and then name-checked Academy Award winner Halle Berry. “She was in Atlanta and just got divorced from David Justice,” Flair said, saying this happened in 2001. Flair was then asked to clarify if the story was real and Flair said he didn’t have to make up a lie. He refused to name any more celebrities he took on “Space Mountain,” probably realizing the mistake he made by even mentioning one by name to begin with. Ric Flair was trending on Twitter on Monday and many users thought that his name was trending because he passed away and then made jokes and posted funny gifs that it was only because he claimed to have sex with Halle Berry.

Laurence Feinstein has been cast in the movie "Starbright". It is slated for a 2017 release.

Rowdy, The Roddy Piper Story will be released Tuesday by Random House books. It was originally started as an autobiography but was completed by his children Colt and Ariel after Piper's death. They are pushing the 400 page book as the biggest book release since the Bret Hart release.

Oklafan congratulates The Mid South Express (Tyson Jaymes & Will Chambers) who surpassed 6 months as MSWA Mid South Tag Team Champions on September 25th. They defeated The Creepsters (Buster Cherry & Mr. Barnes) for the titles on March 25, 2016 at an event in Oklahoma City. They lost the titles to Drake Gallows & Dean Lambert this past Sunday.

Luke Grayson broke his ankle on Sunday during his match with MSWA Mid-South Cruiserweight Champion Xavior. He is expected to be out for 2 months. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
