NEWS
WWE has added A. J. Styles and Seth Rollins to the upcoming WWE tour in Australia which will be held in August. Styles and Rollins join John Cena, Sheamus, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Kevin Owens, The New Day, and others for four days as the company visits Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Prior to the tour there is also one stop in Auckland, New Zealand. The line-up might eventually change again due to the upcoming draft which might see some of the WWE Superstars mentioned working for the other brand that will not be doing the tour.

The WWE Japan website has updated the line-up of the matches for the two nights they have at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Due to the absence of Roman Reigns, some matches had to be adjusted but it looks like the WWE fans in Japan will get some great matches in return. On the first night, the main event will be Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match while Shinsuke Nakamura will be wrestling Chris Jericho. On the second night the main event is slightly changed to Ambrose vs. Jericho vs. Rollins in a Triple Threat Match while Nakamura takes on Kevin Owens. NXT Women’s champion Asuka will take on Becky Lynch on night one, and then wrestles Natalya on the second night. Apart from Roman Reigns, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was also taken off the card as he no longer accompanies his daughter.

On SmackDown last Thursday night, there was no mention of Jerry Lawler at all.

The Memphis, TN based newspaper The Commercial Appeal is reporting that charges against Jerry “The King” Lawler and his girlfriend Lauryn McBride were dropped and WWE has reinstated the SmackDown announcer after his suspension last month. “Jerry Lawler’s legal matter has been resolved and his suspension has been lifted, effective immediately,” a statement from WWE.com read. Lawler missed the "Money In The Bank" pay-per-view event and a few SmackDown shows due to the suspension. The couple were arrested in June after police couldn’t identify who was saying the truth. McBride was saying that Lawler hit her, pushed her, and then gave her a pistol and told her to kill herself. Lawler’s story was different, telling the police that his girlfriend was drunk and tried to leave the house so he stopped her from driving, scratched his face and kicked him in the groin. The gun, he said, was brought in by her after she threatened to kill herself. The charges against them will be expunged from their records and Lawler’s attorney said the whole incident was a big misunderstanding that won’t happen again. The two plan to get married soon.

After domestic assault charges against Jerry Lawler had been dropped, WWE issued the following statement "Jerry Lawler’s legal matter has been resolved and his suspension has been lifted, effective immediately."

SLAM! Wrestling posted a story about Jerry Lawler's charges being dropped which you can read by clicking here.

Vader vs. Will Ospreay was announced for an August 12th show at York Hall in London, England. That stems from a unique angle, where Vader kept knocking the Ricochet vs. Ospreay match. Ospreay then did the Vader reverse splash in almost all his matches and say it was "Vader time." Vader got a series of dates in the United Kingdom out of it.

Some early guest names listed for WrestleCon in Orlando, FL for WrestleMania week in clude Jimmy Snuka, Vader, Robert Fuller, The Godwinns (Henry O. Godwinn & Phineas I. Godwinn), Katie Lee Burchill, The Godfather, Madusa, Tito Santana, Paul Orndorff, Greg Valentine, Perry Saturn, Hornswoggle, Jim Mitchell, Hillbilly Jim, The Boogeyman, Lanny Poffo, Outback Jack, The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher), Jillian Hall, and Barry Horowitz.

What might be the only surviving Dusty Rhodes vs. Bruiser Brody singles match, the main event of the August 11, 1978 show at the Sam Houston Coliseum, was released Thursday on NWAOnDemand.com. You can get one free week of the service just to check it out. It was before Brody was fully polished, but he was gigantic here, around 320 pounds.

A trailer for a new interview with Lanny Poffo can be viewed by clicking here.

Deadline.com reports that Bill Goldberg will be starring in and producing a new action film titled Bauer. The movie follows a veteran special forces soldier who is recruited to head a new black ops organization for the government, however, he must first save his daughter from a mysterious new group bent on revenge. Filming begins in September.

Former WWE wrestler Gene Snitsky stars in "100 Acres of Hell," a horror movie where Snisky portrays a pro wrestling world champion who after a major injury and a family tragedy goes out for a weekend of hunting and debauchery in a wildlife preserve and a ferocious lunatic goes after he and his friends. Samu is also in the movie.

Ric Flair’s podcast will return soon as “The Ric Flair Show” with MLW Radio. It looks like one of his first guests will be Cody Rhodes. Cody posted in Twitter "Last week I wanted to call the Dream so bad but couldn't. I settled for just enjoying this ol' album pic w/Andre..." The picture can be seen by clicking here.
