Jerry ?The King? Lawler recently appeared on ?Cerrito Live? and noted there might be possible split announce teams for WrestleMania 32. WWE might run the split teams so Lawler and Mauro Ranallo get a spot on the show. Lawler added it?s not a done deal, but he?s hear ?scuttlebutt? about it, as fans have been requesting both he and Ranallo call WrestleMania.

In addition to the April release of the NXT history book ECW Press announced yesterday, they also confirmed that Pat Patterson?s book Accepted: How The First Gay Superstar Changed WWE will be released on August 1st.

Steve Austin's next guest on his "Stone Cold Podcast" on the WWE Network will be Mick Foley and the episode will air on Thursday, March 31st, immediately following SmackDown. WWE.com is promoting the interview as a live broadcast although it's not known if the two will actually be taping it live. In the past, WWE promoted Austin's interview with Shawn Michaels as live even though it was taped weeks before. On March 31st all the WWE talent will already be in Dallas, TX for WrestleMania and SmackDown that night is usually a combination of taped matches and live cut-ins from Axxess. It could be possible that Austin and Foley will be taping it at Axxess or somewhere else in Dallas as both will be there at the time. According to stats released by WWE, the "Stone Cold Podcast" is one of the most-watched broadcast on the WWE Network and Austin's interviews with the likes of Vince McMahon, Triple H, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, and others have earned rave reviews from fans.

As recently as two weeks ago there was some talk of Sting wrestling at WrestleMania 32. Before Shane McMahon returned, there were still rumblings of doing Sting vs. The Undertaker and there?s also been ideas tossed around that would see him do something with The Wyatt Family or John Cena, although the angle with Cena may not be against each other. These rumors indicate that Sting is healthy enough to return to the ring. However, one source speculated that his health is still very much an issue.

Dana Warrior, the widow of The Ultimate Warrior, confirmed in a post on her Facebook that there will be another Warrior Award presented at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this year. ?The recipient is top secret but I am absolutely thrilled with who has been chosen,? Dana wrote, adding that she and her two girls will be in Dallas, TX for WrestleMania and will be at all the events. ?So I hope with all my heart you will say hello so I can thank you in person for your ongoing support,? Dana said. The Warrior Award was inaugurated last year with Connor Michalek being the first recipient of the award. During his induction speech in 2013, Warrior urged WWE to create an award to honor the true heroes of the company. After his death, WWE created the award and named it in his honor. Dana and Daniel Bryan presented Connor?s father with the award during a very emotional presentation.

The Iron Sheik wrote a hilarious open letter, in all caps, to both Hulk Hogan and Gawker and it was published by Esquire.com. Sheik said that without him there would be no Hulkamania and he did the honors for him and ?Mr Kennedy McMahon? when he could have taken the offer to break his leg. He said that Hogan told him that he ?owed him one? but he hasn?t seen that day yet but ?it?s okay? as he?s in the WWE Hall of Fame and he?s a legend forever. Despite calling Hogan a ?half and half howdy doody looking jabronie guitar player,? he said that Hulk is still ?one of the boys? and it?s a shame that today ?nobody give a f**k about history.? Turning his attention to Gawker, he said that they made Hogan look bad by getting ?cheap heat? and called them ?no good son of a bitch? as they don?t respect the privacy and have no class. ?I can?t wait I see Mr. Gawker I suplex you put you in camel clutch break your his back I make him humble,? CBS aired a promo of the Middle Tennessee basketball player after the team beat Old Dominion to win the Conference USA tournament Saturday night cutting the Ric Flair limousine riding promo.

There is a Kickstarter campaign to fund a movie called "Church" that starts on Thursday with a number of pro wrestlers. It is described as an action/horror feature with evil angels, good demons, vampires, Lucifer and possibly the end of the world, in the vein of "The Crow meets Constantine." Those listed for roles include Johnny Mundo, Jake Roberts, Maria Kanellis, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Shelly Martinez, Sinn Bodhi, and Gangrel.

The Southern Wrestling Hall of Fame announced on Sunday that Rod Price will be inducted on March 31st at NWA's "Parade of Champions" event in Fort Worth, TX.
