JR's Blog: Lex Luger Ross Report Getting Great Feedback, More on JR's AXS-TV/NJPW Partnership, @HOBDallas Tkt Sales are Brisk,Rumble Predictions, How Big is Braun? WWE HOF Speculation

Thanks for stopping by our site! I'd like to ask that you let others know of it and encourage them to check us out sometime. My conversation with Lex Luger on this week's Ross Report is getting amazing feedback from a multitude of people. It's a free download to hear this riveting conversation with a man who has seen the front door of Hell along with escaping death but he instead dodged multiple bullets in a big way. Lex is honest, his words motivational and I felt great after hearing what Lex had to say when we taped our conversation for the Ross Report. Visit podcastone.com, iTunes or the homepage of this very site to listen for FREE.

The feedback that we have gotten from so many on our new business partnership with AXS-TV has been nothing short of extraordinary. Thanks you all for your kind words of support. My first show with Josh Barnett will be on Friday night March 4 on AXS-TV. We will begin our first round of production in early to mid February in Los Angeles.

At this time we do not have any thing official established it relates to me doing any broadcasting of current NJPW events that would first air on New Japan World but who knows what the future will hold? I'd enjoy being involved with that if that's what AXS and NJPW want. Stay tuned.

Just agreed today to be apart of Big Event NY coming to the Big Apple in early March. I will be providing you more info soon. It's going to be a huge event as I know that Jerry Lawler, Jim Cornette and Terry Funk will all be there along with many other top talents.

On Saturday March 12, I will join The King in Maryland for a Maryland Championship Wrestling event of which I'm looking forward to being a part.

The folks at the Dallas House of Blues are amazed at how early and how quickly tickets are selling for our three shows in Big D during Wrestlemania weekend. I'm dong two shows sandwiched around the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday April 2 and another show after Monday Night RAW on April 4. The House of Blues is only an 8 minute walk to the American Airlines Center so we are conveniently located for all fans attending either WWE event or simply staying in downtown Dallas. We are not sold out but are well on our way of being so. Tickets start at $20 and are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com. Remember that I will have three, surprise guests for these shows that will join me in unfiltered Q&A's.

Check out my interview with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez now available for free at www.wrestlingobserver.com.

Bryan will join me next week for the Ross Report podcast and we will review Sunday's Royal Rumble among other topical items of interest. The head man of Figure Four Online is an amazing podcast guest.

Latest word on the street is that Austin Aries is headed to WWE NXT. Austin is an exceptional talent in today's marketplace. I hope the rumor is true.

Many have asked me my take on WWE HOFer Tammy 'Sunny' Stych apparently doing a porn film for Vivid Video that is set to be released this spring. My take on this matter is simple....I have no skin in this game, how's that for being a wordsmith, and I will not be jumping on a soapbox and filibustering my opinion. She's grown woman who can do as she pleases and doing an adult film isn't a violation of the law. I truly hope that she finds her way to a happy and healthy place in the near future.

It's amazing how many fans feel that he have the right to help WWE determine who needs to be kicked out of their Hall of Fame. Has anyone ever been kicked out f the WWE Hll of Fame? Not that I've heard including Hulk Hogan.

How big is Braun Strowman anyway? I hear WWE announcers talking about his hugeness, which is ample, but exactly how big is he? Wrestlers of size get 'over' by having their size exploited by the broadcasters and by being athletic for that extraordinary size.

It felt strange seeing Roman Reigns get pummeled by a multitude of talents as Smackdown went off the air Thursday night with who coming to his aid? Can someone explain the logic of that to me? Even if a few other 'faces tried to help and were shut down it would help the fan favorites be recognized and would add steam the villains. Plus, it's logical booking.

I agree with Steve Austin who said on my podcast last week that NXT representatives should be included in the Rumble match Sunday in Orlando. Why not?

The latest rumors making the rounds regarding the balance of the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Class include many of the names that I've listed here and talked about on The Ross Report. They include the Freebirds, JBL.and Jackie Moore. The latest rumored list also includes Charles Wright aka Papa Shango, Kama, Godfather, et al , and celebrity entrant Regis Philbin. I expect that not over one deceased star will inducted as well. Nonetheless it is shaping up to be a strong class.

Sting is the leading inductee from a marketing perspective and I wonder if we will see him at the Royal Rumble or on Monday's RAW?

Something tells me that I won't be shocked if there is an Undertaker sighting in Orlando and/or on RAW Monday.

Season two of Lucha Underground kicks off this Wednesday January 27 on the El Rey network. This is a fun, one hour show to watch that has a distinct feel, presentation and texture.

Rumble thoughts:

I don't see the New Day losing the tag titles.

What if Ric Flair inadvertently costs daughter Charlotte the divas title and she subsequently slaps her father and kicks him to the curb in a display of public humiliation and embarrassment? Charlotte then gets real heat, Becky makes Irish history, and the issue between the two women becomes very personal. Next thing you know, old Natich goes totally middle aged and crazy and even tries to gain favor with Ms Lynch to get even with his renegade daughter. If not, Charlotte wins and begins prep to meet Sasha Banks at Wrestlemania Texas.

Ambrose vs. Owens could be the match of the night. It's challenging to have a Last Man Standing Match with no DNA spilled but this match should be good nonetheless. I've got Ambrose winning here. I really like both performers/wrestlers.

ADR will likely retain the US Title even though Kalisto needs it more. I'd go with the underdog but I doubt that will happen.

I see Reigns overcoming a multitude of odds but not leaving Orlando with the WWE Title. I see a heel winning by unsavory means thus making Reigns have to work to get back in the title hunt culminating with Roman winning the WWE Title at Wrestlemania Texas.

Hopefully WWE will "swerve" us and throw plenty of curve balls at us Sunday in the Rumble Match. The Royal Rumble will go a long way on positioning how well Wrestlemania Texas does and I'd hope that we see the makings of 2-4 'Mania bouts comes out of Sunday's event on the WWE Network.

The Q&A's are updated here on the site.

Thanks for stopping by and to all those who are experiencing weather issues please stay safe and off the dangerous and slick roads if you can.
