Yours truly will be on the Steve Austin podcast this week talking announcing, Survivor Series, his new beer, football, Ronda Rousey and so much more. Steve's podcast can be found along with ours at podcastone.com.

Talking to the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer tonight for this week's podcast that drops this Tuesday night as usual at 9pm ET on podcastone.com, iTunes and on the homepage of this site. We'll cover all levels of wrestling, Survivor Series, MMA and much more. Dave always has great info and insight and I encourage you to listen.

Also, tonight I'm recording a conversation with TNA's Jeremy Borash for a later air date to discuss his ubiquitous career, TNA and Jeremy's take on the business in today's climate.

Not surprised that there has been a great deal of negative feedback on the WWE Survivor Series and I assumed as much no matter what WWE did with the WWE World Title at the end of the night. I always endorsed the new champion being an Authority person so I wanted a heel to win the title while looking strictly at the big picture. I got my wish and I'm fine with Sheamus being the champion, for now. Is Sheamus hot? Absolutely not. Will he work hard and represent the company in a professional manner? Absolutely. The key element is to get Sheamus hot and to do so it can't be done with him being booked in a 50/50 manner, being a cowardly heel, and without him getting on a roll and winning big matches via hook or crook preferably be cheating and showing no remorse for his tactics or physical style.

I certainly did not 'hate' the Survivor Series but it was somewhat average watching it live on the WWE Network where I had some technical issues early on in the broadcast off and on for about an hour. After those matters cleared up it was a clean broadcast.

In other words WWE has lots of work to do to get Sheamus in a position so that he can pass the title along at the right place, at the right time to the right person. The hotter WWE can make Sheamus the more it wil mean when he loses the title. I'd be curious to see how Sheamus would progress if he were mentored by Arn Anderson, in front of or behind the camera, and adopted some of the Anderson families in ring traits.

Reigns needs to continue to steer the course, work diligently on his in ring game, don't allow himself ot become predictable with his move set and work extra hard on his promos which should all be short, succinct and cutting to the chase.

Nonetheless, at the end of the day the debate will continue as to whether or not Roman Reigns shouldn't have stabbed Dean Ambrose in the back in he finals and became HHH's 'boy' until Reigns turn occurred later in 2016.

Sorry to hear of Cesaro needing rotator cuff surgery and he will likely be out 6 months at l least to allow the injury to heal. Perhaps WWE can figure out how to better utilize Cesaro between this week's surgery and Cesaro's return.

Is it time for Dolph Ziggler to take a much deserved sabbatical and to then return with a new focus? It's hard for me to comprehend why Ziggler is not utilized more productively in today's marketplace in WWE and perhaps getting off the road and allowing him to freshen up isn't such a bad idea. Yes, I know WWE doesn't have an overabundance of depth but when a door closes for one talent it should open for another.

Hey, if Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino need a 'third wheel' in Las Vegas at the announce desk for the February ROH-NJPW PPV, I'd make myself readily available. Just throwing it out there as that should be a helluva wrestling event.

Wishing get well wishes to Bret Hart who's having surgery this week on his wrist in Calgary. We wish the Hall of Famer a speedy recovery.

Impressed with how good Goldust looked Sunday night in Atlanta. The Dream would have been proud.

Why don't pro wrestlers focus on body parts as much as they used to? Perhaps it's because they spend more time on their 'high risk' game than learning how to actually apply and manipulate holds. Seeing unlimited high risk moves during a wrestling show is, to me, akin to having blood in every match. At some point the over exposure begins to mean less and less.

"Less is more" doesn't have an expiration date.

www.americansoda.co.uk located in Manchester, England is fully stocked with JR's products and ready to ship your holiday order to your home or office in the UK, Ireland or Europe.

Same goes for www.wweshop.com which often times ships out your order the same day that it is received. Don't delay and get that holiday shopping rolling sooner than later.

Anxious to see if TNA comes up with any new ways to present their product when they start on their new network in January. I'd strongly suggest making some tweaks and establishing a new, exclusive identity from the first show forward on Pop TV.
