There continues to be a lot of talk about WWE inducting The Fabulous Freebirds into their Hall of Fame next year during WrestleMania week in Dallas, TX. Michael ?PS? Hayes still being with the company and the fact that the group has strong ties to the area make them a strong contender for next year.

WWE announced Monday a deal with the Texas Lottery as a cross-promotion for WrestleMania. There will be a WrestleMania scratch ticket game available starting November 16th. The revenue is supposed to support public schools and features $10 million in prizes, as well as trips to WrestleMania, All-Access at the Performance Center, VIP tickets to the WrestleMania pre-party, WrestleMania Axxess tickets, tickets to a private dinner with WWE Legends, and more. There will be scratch tickets with the faces of John Cena, The Undertaker, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Paige, and The Bella Twins (Brie Bella & Nikki Bella). What's notable about this is a few years ago, WWE, when in talks of bringing Ric Flair back when Flair had a lottery deal, told him he'd have to give up the deal because they didn't consider a lottery to fit in with the family friendly doctrine.

On the WWE Network's preview of the Sting DVD, he did mention that he was in TNA for several years before coming to WWE. WWE usually avoids TNA references.

WWE is sending the big guns to the "Wizard World Comic Con" Tulsa which will take place on the weekend of October 23rd at the Cox Business Center. WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, WWE Divas champion Charlotte, and The Undertaker will be the three WWE ambassadors for this event. Rollins and Charlotte will appear together on Saturday, October 24th, with photo ops starting at 10:30am and then autographs at 11:15am. A Q&A panel will then follow at 1pm. The Undertaker will take the stage afterward, starting at 2:30pm for photos and then autographs at 3:45pm. There will be no Q&A with The Undertaker. TNA and Sony Six in India announced the first ever live international televised event from the country as well as a partnership with Dalip Singh, the man formerly known as The Great Khali, for a talent search to find the next Indian wrestling star. TNA will present three live events in Mumbai on December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, with the last show being a "One Night Only" show broadcasting live in India. Present for the announcement were Ethan Carter III, Rebel [2nd], and Mahabali Shera, as well as Dalip Singh. The TNA talent are on a 7-day tour in the country to promote their upcoming tour. Former WWE World Champion Dalip Singh will lead the talent search along with John Gaburick, TNA?s Executive Vice President of Television and Talent Relations. Singh will be a part of the selection process and help mentor the contenders. ?For the first time in India, fans will be able to experience a live event which is something that they have only seen on our channel,? said Prasana Krishnan, Business Head, Sony SIX. ?Through our annual efforts in showcasing international wrestling talents in India, we aim to reach out to more than millions of viewers, reaching out to a broader fan base in the country.? Jeff Jarrett was booked as Alberto El Patron?s replacement for the Swiss Wrestling Extreme in Switzerland and Westside Xtreme Wrestling in Germany. Jarrett working the wXw event is interesting considering their promoter Christian Michael Jakobi had kind of buried GFW in a Q&A a few weeks ago, saying they had no working agreement with GFW, no lines of communication and "we looked into baseball stadiums in Europe, but found none small enough to hold GFW crowds."

Terry Funk did a crazy concession stand brawl at Saturday night's Absolute Intense Wrestling show in Cleveland, OH. Funk will have his first match in a long time this coming Saturday night in Jackson, TN, against Jerry Lawler at Oman Arena. Lance Russell will be there as well.

NWAClassics.com has added Ricki Starr vs. Duke Keomuka, Mil Mascaras vs. Masked Superstar, Steve Williams vs. Terry Gordy in a Texas Death Match, Tommy Rogers vs. Dutch Mantell and Rogers vs. Eddie Gilbert to their list of matches.
