Hello one and all and thanks for stopping by our site. Tell a friend about us and know that is is appreciated. Show time coming soon in Washington, D.C. at the DC Improv where less than 25 tickets remain for our Wednesday August 19 show at www.dcimprov.com. Tickets are still available for our Saturday August 22 event, the only date of the year in NYC for yours truly, at the Gramercy Theater with tickets on sale at www.ticketmaster.com. Some lucky attendee at our NYC show will win a pair of primo tickets to Summer Slam which has been sold out since day one. I love presenting the RINGSIDE with Jim Ross Shows as it allows me to reconnect with the live audience and the fans who have supported my work for years for which I am truly blessed and grateful.

Spent ample time today working on our plans for several. potential events at Wrestlemania in April especially events in Dallas leading into the big event in Arlington and beyond. We hope to have every thing nailed down soon and I will let everyone know as soon as we do but we do expect to have events on Saturday-Sunday-Monday at this time in some shape, form or fashion.

It takes a real idiot to get physically involved in a pro wrestling match as a 'fan' and I use that term loosely did in Victoria, B.C. with Roman Reigns over the weekend. I think the guy should have been jailed and not just banned for life from WWE events as how is that going to be legislated? The ignorant person is lucky this happened in this era and not in a previous generation or his penalty would have been handled on site, in the back of the arena, for better or for worse. Cowboy Bill Watts enjoyed being the judge, jury and executioner when unruly, often times inebriated fans got physical with the talents. These fans got assaulted, I'm not condoning this, and then they still went to jail.

Sorry to hear of AAA's Triplemania PPV had so many production issues for their big event Sunday. I had planned on watching the show as I was curious about it but with the Steelers on TV, the decision was made to forgo the PPV and perhaps catch the replay. That's not likely now but hopefully AAA will persevere and address their technical issues and stay in th PPV game in North America. I did hear that the last two bouts were really good. I heard good things about the show in spite of the production snafus so don't let me sway you from watching it one way or another. I support AAA just as I do all promotions.

Anxious to watch the Undertaker-Lesnar TV special that will air on the WWE Network after RAW. The four hour Summer Slam has two, primary bouts of major interest at this time with Taker vs. Brock being on top right before Cena vs Rollins, Title vs Title. I'm interested a great deal in both these main events and how they will be creatively addressed and how they may, or may not, impact Wrestlemania.

Is it wrong of me or am I merely not in the demo to know who Arrow's Stephen Amell is? Is his appearance on RAW a mutually rewarding promotion because it seems to me that the actor means less than does WWE's franchise broadcast.

Hopefully Daniel Bryan will be on RAW tonight in his home state if for no other reason than to promote his book. I have yet to read this new release but from what I'm told, it is a good read.

Speaking of books, we are working on ours all week with 10+ hour days through Sunday to attempt to complete this particular process of the project. Sooner Legends Inn and Suites in Norman is my home away from home for this project. Plus, they have a room at the hotel that is a "JR" themed room with many photos, etc celebrating my career. The Mrs. has been hard at work working with the hotel on this project. WE hope to have our ready for release sometime in 2016 and ideally around Wrestlemania time.

If you are in Vegas be sure to check out the upcoming Global Force Wrestling TV tapings at the Orleans Hotel/Arena. Will Chael Sonnen be tempted to get physical?

Congrats to WWE NXT for selling out the Barclay Center in Brooklyn the night before Summer Slam and at the same time as our RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross Show in NYC at the Gramercy Theater. NXT is an amazing success story that poses an interesting conundrum for WWE and that is how do they introduce all the young talents that are ready to be called up in a manner that is impactful and memorable? These 'introductions' are critical to the process. I'd estimate that approximately 14,000 fans will sell out the Barclay Center three nights in a row for WWE themed events which is an amazing accomplishment.

Really nice match last weeks on TNA with Matt Hardy vs. EC3. It's good to see Impact Wrestling, a much better name IMO than is TNA, begin to build and emphasis younger talents. That doesn't mean that veterans like Matt Hardy aren't viable because they are. Matt is still very good and one can see that he's taking good care of himself.

WWE's Brad Maddox, ever since I saw him in the FCW days in Tampa, has reminded me of the late, Eddie Gilbert and I used to encourage Brad to study at Eddie's, villain tapes on You Tube, etc. I hear that WWE is repackaging Maddox which is a positive.

Tickets for my RINGSIDE Show in Knoxville, the week of the OU-Tennessee football game, are on sale now at www.ticketweb.com and will be held at The International on Thursday September 10 at 8 pm. General Admission tickets are $20. Yes, I'm staying for the game!

Right before WWE presents Night of Champions in Houston on Sunday September 20, we wll have a RINGSIDE Show just a 10 minute walk away from the Toyota Center at Warehouse Live at 4 pm and tickets for that event are available at www.ticketfly.com. General Admission tickets for this show are also only $20. Our show will not interfere with one attending the NOC whatsoever.

VIP tickets for Knoxville and Houston are still available in limited quantities.

It's amazing how many fans are complaining how little WWE has done to celebrate the life of the late Roddy Piper which I personally feel is very unfair. Some fans are impatient, need immediate gratification and some seemingly enjoy bitching and moaning. I'm told that WWE is going to release a commemorative magazine on Hot Rod at the end of August which will be an excellent tribute.

Check out www.nwaclassics.com as the Paul Boesch/Houston video library is spectacular. I have a keen interest in this library for many reasons so stay tuned and that's all I can say about that at this time.

If Cris Cyborg can make 135 pounds by Dec 5 the pressure will be on UFC to make the much anticipated fight with Ronda Rousey for AT&T Stadium. The issue is can Cyborg truly make the weight and can she be commission friendly? To advertise a MAJOR fight like Rousey vs. Cyborg, the promotion has to be sure that the bigger Cyborg can do what she says she can do. What if on weigh in day she's 10 pounds or so over?

The Mid Atlantic Memories film has a scene in it featuring the late, Johnny Valentine that is absolutely classic and is an example of the term 'presence.' Order the film from www.nwalegends.com.

www.wweshop.com has JR's in stock ready for immediate, home delivery.

www.americansoda.co.uk is due to receive their shipment of JR's in the next 7-10 days.

Excited about this week's Ross Report Podcast with two, great authors on the show. Brian Solomon who penned 'Pro Wrestling FAQ' which is a really fun read AND the great, Paul O'Brien whose novels 'Blood Red Turns Dollar Green' are nothing short of spectacular will both be in in two separate segments to discuss how they created each of their outstanding works of literature. The passion and the research for their books is incredible from two men who are wrestling fans at the highest level. I hope that you will listen for FREE at podcastone.com, iTunes and right here on our site's homepage.
