My conversation with Adam Cole drops tonight (Tuesday) at 9 pm ET on podcastone.com and iTunes. Really good show with a talented young wrestle who has big dreams and seemingly a plan to live them. Interesting show about being essentially an indie wrestler and the challenges that come with it.

Later today I will be talking to ROH's Kevin Kelly who will talk about the upcoming ROH PPV and that show will drop next week, on Tuesday February 17. Also next week I will speak with Shawn Michaels about his new book for a show that will air likely in April.

Hurricane Helms makes his first Ross Report appearance and will review the WWE Fast Lane PPV on a podcast that will drop right after the event in Memphis on Tuesday February 24.

RAW Thoughts:

Thought Roman Reigns mic work showed improvement. He seems to be the kind of talent who works much better with a bullet point format than adding the additional challenge of 'remembering his lines' to the always challenging promo facet of one's game in the biz. Mic work doesn't happen over night and too many fans show no patience while these skills are being developed. Reigns is far from the only talent on RAW that needs to work on that phase of their game. It's an on going process that doesn't come naturally for every talent. Reigns has great presence and knows that he has to become more proficient with his verbal game and I'm confident that will occur in time.

Can you imagine how much antagonist angst a wrestling villain or support that a hero would have if there weren't so many frustrating non conclusive endings to so many matches on TV in general on a variety of TV wrestling shows? In today's conditioned market place, the standby and seemingly obligatory disqualification or count out decisions rarely compute to the audience. Who advances in these scenarios? If no one advances their TV persona then why have the match?

I wish that the audience would care more about the Divas but I can see why they don't more often than not. WWE has and are assembling some outstanding female talents.

The apparent soon to break up, or not, Goldust and Stardust duo have more interest in their team than any team on the roster or so it seems to me. Seems as if this pair has been on again and off again for weeks but I'm interested in them.

Renee Young has become a major asset to the WWE broadcasting arm.

Didn't have any issues with the Sting-HHH presentation but in hindsight I did not need to see the image of Sting entering the ring. Thought the graphics and overall video production was excellent. Looking forward to this confrontation.

Booking Cesaro and Kidd as WWE's top tag team seems like an easy transformation to me. I'd have no issue in re-building the tag team around these two underutilized talents.

Miz was very entertaining Monday night which speaks to my premise that his greatest contribution to the business will someday be as a manager ala Paul Heyman, in a perfect world.

Would have enjoyed seeing more of the Ambrose vs. Axel match then the 2+ minutes that we got. I like both guys and was curious as to the story they might tell if hey had more time.

It's easy to be a Monday, or Tuesday in this case, morning Quarterback but it seems to me if the heel initiated handicap tag matches are running their course.

One thing that would help the villains get more steam is to have a more traditional and realistic interaction with the referees. The talents rarely ever attempt to interact with the men in the striped shirts. Missed opportunity for sure.

Enjoyed seeing the JYD feature saluting Black History Month. Dog was a true pioneer within the wrestling business thanks to the courage of promoter Cowboy Bill Watts and the vision and mentoring of booker Ernie Ladd. Not a great in ring wrestler but Dog had "it."

In hindsight, did Brock Lesnar need to be at RAW to simply stand next to @HeymanHustle while Paul Heyman did another, strong promo? Don't get me wrong, it was great to see arguably the biggest star in WWE today but I was selfishly hoping for more.

It seems that no matter who is announced to be inducted into the WWE HOF some fans simply cannot be satisfied or happy and instead make the announcement about someone that they feel has been passed over or is more deserving. Has anyone been really passed over as anyone not inducted still has a viable chance in being honored in the future. I'm happy for Rikishi and his family.

Many Randy Savage fans seemingly spent more time bitching about the alleged untimely nature of Macho Man's announcement rather than celebrate the honor.

Curious to see how enhanced PED testing will affect the progress of MMA as it is obvious that there is an issue there that needs to be addressed. Some strong suspensions and significant fines would likely slow down the abuse but some people will always look for various ways to cheat the system. Those individuals shouldn't be the sport. Taking an athletes money generally helps get their attention. This problem seemingly reaches deeply into the camp/management of many fighers.

I'm told that we may be closer to finding an adequate venue in the San Jose Area to have a RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross show during WM31 week. Stay tuned.

12 years ago today Curt Hennig aka Mr. Perfect or "Perfecto"as Razor Ramon called him passed away. We went into the 2007 WWE HOF class together and he was one of the funniest men I ever met in the business. I think it was the Bobby Heenan/AWA influence plus being around "The Boys" all his life. Curt was amazedly gifted and one helluva in ring hand. We had a blast doing some commentary together as he, like Hennan and Lawler, could show up w/o much prep, sit down and be great.

Getting to know Curt and his family has been a blessing in my life.
