IZW Adrenaline January 15 Review

IZW Adrenaline January 15 Review

Posted: Jan 15th 2015 By: IZW Staff

There?s an old saying that goes ?Power should be confined to those who are not in love with it.? That may never have applied to one man so much as it does Johnny Z. The man who founded IZW and created Impact Inc has always been enthused and entranced by the prospect of power. When Johnny Z lost the IZW Championship he lost a measure of his power but when both Mark Wilson and Shawn McHale were absent from the Impact Arena the Natural Born Leader seized his opportunity to play puppet master.

Throughout the night Z interrupted interview times, interfered in matches and changed and rearranged matches all to suit his liking. He sent his Facilitator Damon Windsor after Double D and thought D walked out with the win, it was clear that Windsor?s task of inflicting injury in Z?s long-time rival was completed successfully. In the ?Champion VS Champion? match between Johnson and Impact Division Champion Bobby Starr Z again sent his Facilitator to the ring, this time to interrupt a possible pinfall on Starr. Z joined in the festivities as he Windsor and Starr pummeled Johnson. The three scattered, though when Double D hit the ring. His earlier match took a lot out of D but he still showed he had fight left in him. That fighting spirit would soon be put to the test as Johnny Z would again use his power to manipulate this situation into a 3-on-2 handicap tag team match. Johnson, D, Windsor and Starr would all be competing in their second match of the night but Z?s team would not only have an extra man but Z was 100% fresh.

D and Johnson are by no means the best of friends but have shown that when their backs are against the wall they can form quite the effective unit. In previous weeks they have withstood Impact Inc?s attack with the assistance of Kevin Morgan but tonight Morgan had already left the building after Windsor frightened the mysterious Lisa that has been the focus of the recent personal invasion videos. This left D and Johnson at a massive disadvantage. But there?s one thing Impact Inc didn?t count on. With D out on the floor and Johnson crawling toward the empty corner, Jordan Jacobs sprinted to the ring and jumped on the apron. Johnson scrambled over to his WWSB partner reached out and?The Impact Arena went black. When the light returned Jacobs had been pulled to the floor and standing in front of him was Total Darkness, a swift bicycle kick later Jacobs was laid out and the light once again left the arena. Alone in the ring Johnson fell victim to a 3-on-1 attack culminating in a Big Boot in the Corner from Z who picked up the victory for his team. As Impact Inc mockingly made the 10-count Johnson struggled to his feet and made it up by 9 only to catch another immediate boot from Z to put him down and out. Z, Windsor and Starr then decimated D and Jacobs as well and counted the IZW Champion out as they stood victorious over all three fallen men.

Over the past few weeks we have seen Impact Inc showcase their power and influence. Whether it?s Aaron Neil?s brute force and experience, Windsor?s size and cold-hearted malice, Starr?s zeal and devotion to the Savior or Z?s cunning and unquenchable thirst for power, Impact Inc wants the world to know that they have what it takes to bring any superstar and even the IZW World itself to their knees.
