Greetings one and all on a beautiful Monday in Oklahoma...with that said let's grill...

I'm talking with former WWE lead Smackdown writer Alex Greenfield tonight for a Ross Report as we prepare for the Cowboy Bill Watts 90 minute, no holds barred podcast that drops NEXT Tuesday night at 9 pm eastern time on podcastone.com and via iTunes. The Big Cowboy holds nothing back and I invite you to share in this interview with one of the greatest minds in the history of the pro wrestling business.

I worked for many great minds but no one ever surpassed Bill Watts knowledge for in ring psychology and overall booking. Listen to this podcast and I think that you will hear why.

THIS Tuesday night at 9 pm eastern my guest is former WWE, WCW and TNA creative guru Vince Russo @pyroballyhoo. This is one of the most eagerly anticipated Podcasts we have produced and I think that you will be very interested in what Vince has to say about his long albeit controversial career.

Very excited to be working with Chael Sonnen for the Battlegrounds MMA PPV on Friday October 3 that will emanate from Tulsa and will feature the return of the one night, single elimination, 8 man tournament with 50K going to the winner. This will be my MMA broadcasting debut of which I'm extremely motivated about doing. I hope that you will check out the broadcast/PPV and I guarantee you that it won't be boring.

This Ray Rice fiasco in Baltimore is simply horrible. I know this isn't wrestling related but it's huge news and it shouldn't be because a man should never strike a woman.

Baltimore is the site of Monday Night RAW featuring Jerry Springer in a segment with the Bella twins. That's a far cry from Sammartino vs Billy Graham, the Great American Bash headliners, and yours truly passing kidney stone particles during a PPV featuring an ill advised Scaffold Match.

Just watched a 1993 match on You Tube featuring Dr. Death vs. Kenta Kobashi from 1993 in All Japan Pro Wrestling. It's awesome. Watch it.

Wrote a story for foxsports.com on our recruitment of Brock Lesnar that began in 1999 and culminated with WWE signing Brock in 2000 for the most money ever paid to a WWE rookie. I also examine the relationship that has evolved between Lesnar and @HeymanHustle Paul Heyman. I'm not sure when Fox is going to post the story but will let you know here and/or via Twitter @JRsBBQ.

Heading to Asheville, NC this week to add my support to a new, national charity called "Headlock on Hunger" that will endeavor to feed families in need around Thanksgiving and the Holiday season. It's a good thing for one's soul and peace of mind to be able and willing to volunteer to help others. Feeding hungry children, among many charities, is supremely rewarding. Hopefully you will join me as we work diligently to make 'Headlock on Hunger' a success.

Helluva night of TV Sunday with The Broken Skull Challenge, the premier of the final season of Boardwalk Empire and another Ray Donovan as it comes down the home stretch for this season.

At http://www.prowrestlingtees.com/jimross see all the new designs of JR's tees and remember that you get a FREE, RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross shirt with every shirt that you purchase. All sizes are available in the new shirts and we ship worldwide. As I said, take a look at the new shirts that were just made available.

If you are in the area this Saturday, I will be doing an appearance from noon-2 pm at the Homeland Grocery store on Lindsey Street in Norman which is on the way to the OU Stadium and will be doing doing some cooking, passing out FREE FOOD, photos and autographs. @HomelandStores is a long time supporter of JR's products. Come by and say hello if you are in our neck of the woods.

JR's products are also available online at:

http://www.wweshop.com

http://www.americansoda.co.uk

http://www.beyondtheropes.co.uk

Plus you can find our goods in the Las Vegas Fight Shop, the Squared Circle Restaurant in Chicago, and the Wrestling Guy Store in Southern California near LA.

Remember that we have the rest of the year's podcast schedule on the homepage of this site if you want to see who our future Ross Report guests include. It's a diverse and entertaining group of folks to say the least.

I've updated the Q&A's elsewhere on the site and invite you to check them out while you're here. Submit your questions if you would like to and I will do my best to answer. Can't answer them all but I do my best.

Thanks for stopping by and for supporting all our efforts especially the Ross Report Podcast which you can download for FREE at podcastone.com and on iTunes.

Boomer Sooner!
