Brian Blade's Blog: State of the WWE and The 10 Greatest Big Men of All Time
Posted: Jun 17th 2014 By: Brian Blade
The WWE is struggling a little bit right now with injuries to Daniel Bryan and John Cena. House Shows are stretched a little thin, but they are still putting on good events. The MITB PPV should be very entertaining with any of the men in it a possible winner. Plus adding a second ladder match will only add to the PPV. Will the Uso's keep the Tag Titles from the Wyatt Family? I love the Uso's but it may be the Wyatt's time.
I also believe it is time to bring Brock Lesnar back. Brock is a draw and would be a great opponent for the new champion. It is also nice to see the WWE use and raise a lot of the younger guys, it is time to make some new Main Event players. Caesaro and Reigns look to be ready. Orton and Cena can only Main Event for so long. I am looking forward to a great PPV and hope I am not disappointed.
The 10 Greatest Big Men Of All Time - In order to be on this list you have to be a legit 6'9 and 300 lbs, or over 350lbs. and any height.
10. One Man Gang - A great big man that could move. Main Event in Mid South and WWE. Had a good run in WCW.
9. Jerry Blackwell - Successful anywhere he went, but had a very long run in AWA. How many men his size could do a dropkick?
8. King Kong Bundy - A brute that was a legit contender to Hulk Hogan.
7. Bam Bam Bigelow - Maybe the most athletic 390lbs man ever. He do things no one his size ever could.
6. Kane - The Big Red Machine, has been getting it done for 20 yrs. He can move and he can destroy you.
5. Sid Vicious - Main Evented every where he went. Big and strong and always entertaining in either a good or bad way.
4. Big Van Vader - Dominate. He dominated Japan and WCW. He could also do moves no other man at 430lbs could do.
3. Big Show - Still doing his thing after almost 20 yrs. Big and athletic, a main event player from day one.
2. Undertaker - The Phenom, just one of the best workers ever no matter the size
1. Andre the Giant - The Greatest Big Man of all time. Was very athletic in his younger days, and a main attraction wherever he went. Possibly the greatest attraction ever in wrestling.
This is my opinion, feel free to give me yours.
