Two sources close to Sting have both noted for weeks that the deal with WWE has been as close s just ?dotting the i?s? but was not done as of a few days ago. Within WWE, Sting's signing has been considered imminent since before WrestleMania XXX. Sting is said to be scheduled for more WWE Network projects but that doesn?t necessarily mean he?s signed because he wasn?t under any kind of contract when he was interviewed for the Ultimate Warrior specials.

WWE?s website has a new article up with Superstars revealing their favorite wrestlers. Big E named Goldberg, Cody Rhodes named Sting, John Cena named Mr. McMahon, Dolph Ziggler named Ric Flair, Seth Rollins named Necro Butcher, Mick Foley named Terry Funk, Mark Henry named The Undertaker and Andre the Giant, The Miz named The Ultimate Warrior, Kofi Kingston named Shawn Michaels and Curtis Axel?s favorite is Curt Hennig.

The Rock, Rikishi, and Mickie James are possible names for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame. Kevin Nash is also on the ?maybe? list for next year.

Mick Foley is a big fan of Adam Rose and joked about finally signing a new WWE Legends Deal during last night?s RAW. He posted on Twitter ?I?ll sign the legends deal if I get my own Santa figure & a spot on the @WWEAdamRose #ExoticExpress. Call me @WWE ? make it happen! #RAW?.

Mick Foley on his Facebook page said that he has an important decision to make about his future. "I know that not everyone will agree with, or support the decision, but I do hope the decision will be respected." The announcement was that he was going to start wearing a fanny pack again. For what it's worth, Mick Foley did an interview this week on Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling web site. However rumors are circulating that Foley is close to re-signing his Legends deal with WWE.

Jim Cornette, Larry Matysik, and Herb Simmons were on 100.7 FM in St. Louis, MO last Thursday morning from 8am to 9am on a show where host Smash used to announce many years ago for Dick the Bruiser. They were also on WBGZ Radio 1570 AM from 11am to noon. They were plugging last Saturday's 55th anniversary of "Wrestling at the Chase" show in East Carondelet, IL which was headlined by Ron Powers vs. Ricky Cruz in a Loser Leaves Town Match.
