Brian Blade's Blog: Are You Excited For WrestleMania?

WrestleMania is less than two weeks away and this almost seems like the least exciting WM in yrs. Some of the matches seem good, but just not WrestleMania worthy. I personally am looking forward to the PPV, but not overly excited about most of the matches. The Battle Royal is a Battle Royal, they are always fun, but not a great match. Most of the time they have a Battle Royal on the pre-show. John Cena v. Bray Wyatt has picked up steam, but the feud has not built enough for me to think this is a big match. I like that they are doing a 4 way match for the tag titles, they should make it elimination to add to it. The Shield v. Kane & The New Age Outlaws has potential, but not a lot of build again. Undertaker v. Brock Lesner should be a great match, but does anyone really think Lesner will win? Daniel Bryan v. HHH could be the show stealer and could have the best swerve, but probably won't. Orton v. Batista has little interest, so adding Bryan helps, but if he don't win how big of a disappointment will that be? The Divas match is bound to be a cluster, if it is somehow good I will be shocked.

Why is there no defense of the IC Title or the US Title? They have completely made these titles worthless. They could have made this show so much better, but due to not planning well and Punk walking out, there has not been a lot of build to most of these matches. WrestleMania will hopefully surprise, but I am not greatly hopeful that this will be a great PPV. Getting it for as cheap as it is on the WWE Network is great, so no matter what it will be worth it, but will it be great?
