Foley's Blog: OK with Kane?

So how are you guys liking the new Kane - WWE Universe ? I'm still on the fence. I remember talking with him a couple years ago, and he mentioned that he felt like he needed to shift gears; that his current character had grown stale - as all characters do, if not occasionally tweaked. Within months, we were given "Anger Management", with Daniel Bryan, reminding guys like me why we loved wrestling to begin with - reviving the old Kane, and sky-rocketing Daniel Bryan.
I'm going to buy a new brick, a perfectly shaped red brick - and if Daniel Bryan doesn't win the Rumble, I'm going to take that brand new, perfectly shaped brick through my television set. THAT is how over Daniel is, and how badly I want to see him win the Rumble and go on to Mania.
But what about Kane. This new corporate look hasn't been doing it for me, but last night on Smackdown he showed some shades of his former self, that could lead to something interesting down the road. For those who don't know, or have only heard the rumblings, Kane (yeah, I know most of you know his real name, but if it's not used on TV I don't use it here) is an absolutely brilliant guy; someone who has used his 17 years on the road to study world history and politics - and I can easily foresee a political career in his future. Imagine being the candidate who has to debate a six foot nine inch monster, with that voice, and a deep knowledge of EVERYTHING. Maybe this director of operations thing will make the transition easier for him.
In the meantime, I hope he, and the WWE creative staff will be able to write a final chapter worthy of his Hall of Fame career.
