Jeff Jarrett recently announced his resignation from TNA Wrestling, and will officially become a free agent on January 6th, according to a PWInsider.com report. This will likely result in TNA President Dixie Carter assuming more power in the company, as she would often butt heads with Jarrett over ideas.

Prior to going public with his resignation from TNA Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement with the promotion.

A. J. Styles is on the verge on signing a new agreement with TNA. The company reportedly made the former TNA Champion the offer he was seeking, and Styles has accepted the terms.

Mike Bessler of Pro Wrestling Illustrated posted a blog on the PWI website entitled "Of Styles And Substance" which he gives his opinions on how A. J. Styles was treated during recent contract negotiations with TNA. You can read the blog by clicking here.

Among the former WWE stars pictured in the "Old School Raw" teaser was Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, Ted DiBiase, Rikishi, among others.

Marc Mero was a recent guest on "Wrestling Glory Days". He talked about working with The Honky Tonk Man during his short stay in WCW. He said "When the Honky Tonk Man came into the company, it was exciting because he was a really well known name. It was really cool to be wrestling against The Honky Tonk Man. I think it was in Detroit I wrestled against him and it was a short lived stay that he had there. From what I understand, he had some disagreements with the company and their direction. So our match was changed a couple of times, what it was going to be like and what it was supposed to be like and whatever but, whatever, he was a good guy. I liked Wayne. It wasn?t the kind of matches I was used to having, not as physical, but that worked for him. In two separate Twitter posts, Missy Hyatt gave her thoughts on the state of WWE and TNA. She posted "WWE lost a ton of steam & sensible booking right after Summer Slam. Their first half of 2013 was decent.Hopefully they get back on track2014" and "The biggest TNA asset is the TV contract. The brand is tainted.They killed PPV, selling tix, no video game contracts.Wasted years W/ Russo".

The Iron Sheik posted on Facebook "Respect to all my intelligent fans on the Christmas. I love you forever and God bless you and F** THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR" (edited by Oklafan not by Sheik).

Kid Krazy suffered a torn ligament in his knee. He won't know the extent of the damage or how long he will out of action until after the MRI he has scheduled for January 13th. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

It has been reported that WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young was hospitalized sometime within the past week, and has since been moved to hospice care. There are no other details at this time. The staff of Oklafan sends our thoughts and prayers to Mae Young and her family at this time.
