Reports from the Buddy Landell vs. Jerry Lawler match at the West Virginia Mountaineer Championship Wrestling event in Hamlin, WV indicate that Landell is now about 260 pounds, wrestled in a shirt and has dark hair. His punches were still awesome but he was in bad shape when it was over, and was laying on the floor in intense back pain telling people he can't do this anymore and needed help getting up. He said it was his first match in two years.

The Memphis Wrestling event featuring Jerry Lawler vs. Hulk Hogan has been moved from the Mid-South Coliseum to the FedExForum

Jeff Jarrett is still in charge of TNA Creative, with Vince Russo and Dutch Mantel pitching ideas. Russo and Mantel write most of the weekly television shows.

In the sixth inning of the Detroit Tigers vs. Toronto Blue Jays season opener, former Tulsa Driller Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez came to the plate with Eddie Guerrero's them music "Latino Heat" playing. He used the theme last season as well.

Phil Mushnick of the New York Times had this to say regarding Bam Bam Bigelow's autopsy results: "The result of the autopsy on Bam Bam Bigelow was released, last week: Drug overdose. But no big deal, just another dead pro wrestler; there have been scores of them. It's not like it's important news, like Donald Trump jumping in with Vince McMahon."

WWE has announced their May schedule for their 24/7 channel and it includes a WWF card from December 1977 at Madison Square Garden in New York City featuring Dusty Rhodes against Stan Stasiak among other matches.

King Kong Bundy will be inducted into the American Wrestling Federation Hall of Fame on April 28th
