NWA-TXO Report For August 17
Posted: Aug 23rd 2013 By: CMBurnham
What an exciting night in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We started the fight off right where we left off in Sherman, Texas the night before. Rock Star Mafia came to the ring and informed the crowd that they are the new NWA-TXO Tag Team Champions and that they are off for the night and will not be wrestling. With the approval from Ms. Hopper they were officially off the clock.
In the opening match O'malley defeated Montego Seeka in a great David versus Goliath match as there was definitely a size difference between the two competitors. Montego thought to have got the better end of the deal when he chopped the big guy down to size by flying leg kicks and a final drop kick to the knee but it was not enough to conquer the Dublin Destroyer. That's 2-0 for the big man.
Second match, Spike Lee defeated Kid Krazy. Spike just came off a win in Cushing a few weeks before when he defeated Canadian Red Devil. Looks like he is looking for a permanent spot on that roster.
Third match, Barrett Brown defeated Al Farat. This was definitely not a match that Al was looking for. First he made the debut of his new manager Nigel Rabid. Just as he was announcing that the Prince was going to leave if the USA chants did not stop Barrett was live in the action defending his fans and his country from the Arab attack.
Semi main event match was a title defense as NWA-TXO Rose Champion Bree Ann defeated Misty Lynn. Misty felt that she deserved a second chance at the title since she almost pinned Bree back in Cushing a few weeks before. But in the end it was the Champ that had her hand raised in another victorious win.
Main event of the night was Tim Storm verses Apoc. This was a rematch from the month before, as Apoc felt he deserved a chance at the title since he was on the winning side of the Sherman Series. But just as the match was starting Rock Star Mafia came to the ring and started attacking both Tim and Apoc, with this match now called as a no contest.
The night didn?t end there as Tim Storm ask Apoc to join forces and restart Dark Circle to take on Rock Star Mafia and give them the beating that they deserve. .
Main event officially changed NWA-TXO Tag Team Champions verses Dark Circle. This match was a great back and forth battle that didn?t want to end. There was no way that RSM was giving up and there was no way that Tim or Apoc were going to give them the victory. The match bounced back and forth from inside the ring to the outside until the final second when both teams were disqualified as a count out. Rock Star Mafia was not going to give up the chance to show that they were the strong force as Robert Langdon called for the entire locker room to clear and stop the mayhem and put an end to the attacks. This move didn?t stop the attacks it added more bodies to the mix as RSM would not go down nor would Tim and Apoc. Finally after a 10 minute altercation Dane Griffin escaped out of the ring leaving Armani in the ring with Tim Storm. The NWA-TXO Champion lifted Armani and hit his finisher leaving Armani laying in the ring closing out another awesome show.
This was a night to remember and a night that will last in the minds of the fans as to what is next for the tag team champs. Is Dark Circle back? Will Armani ever remember where he is? Tune in next time month and find out.
