NWA Texoma in Cushing Review
Posted: Aug 4th 2013 By: mikeiles
What a show to remember, NWA Texoma takes their show into uncharted territory are we came to Cushing, Oklahoma with a bang and left the fans begging for more. We had a lot of new talent and also a special guest referee for the night as 4 time WCCW Referee of the Year winner, David Manning made his presence known.
The first match Soike Lopez defeated The Canadian Red Devil in his debut for NWA Texoma. Great match with a lot of moves that we didn?t know the Canadian could get out of .
Second match of the night was the returning of the Rose Division Champion Bree Ann as she was forced to defend her title against the new comer Misty Lynn. Misty is a new force in Oklahoma and she is gunning for that title. In the end it was just not enough as the bottom dropped out of the hopes of Misty Lynn as Bree Ann defeated to retain her title.
Third match of the night was the return of some upcoming tags and a new team ready to make a mark in the NWA. As the KC Wolves defeated the American Aristocrats in a high flying battle of tags to prove that they deserve a chance at the titles that Team ATM currently holds.
Fourth match of the night, Prince Al Farat defeated Chris Morrison to spoil the kid?s debut and making the fans want more. Morrison claims that he was cheated because Al Farat used a weapon in the match but the referee didn?t see anything and the match stands. In the end Morrison demanded a rematch at the next NWA Texoma show in Cushing.
Semi Main Event, Max Riggs defeated the Dublin Destroyer O'Malley as the match was definitely not an easy match. O?Malley controlled a lot of the match as Max was not able to capitalize until the bitter end and was able to take the big man down and get the 3 count and the win.
Main Event: NWA Texoma Champion Tim Storm defeated Apoc in a return from the Sherman Series Match. The match was definitely the crowd favorite of the night as the fans were on their feet cheering to a win for Team Kick Ass. Even though the series was decided the win was definitely a reality boost, as the Champ needed it after the brutal attack from Rock Star Mafia and Mike Foxx the week before. A little but of recap from last show Armani turned on Tim in the Sherman Series giving the Team Heal to Face complete control of the company and control over every title.
What will be the first action for Terri Hopper as her reign of the company starts on August 16th in Sherman? What will Robert do to get control of his company back? Who will be the first for a title defense? Stay tuned to find out.
