WWE News: Mick Foley's Hall Induction Added to Televised Portion of Ceremony
Posted: Apr 5th 2013 By: mikeiles
Big news for fans of ?Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley, as it appears the WWE has succumbed to fan backlash and added him to the televised portion of its Hall of Fame ceremony.
In case you were unaware, the WWE originally had no plans to include Foley on its televised special.
In fact, a recent promo revealed that Donald Trump, Trish Stratus and Bruno Sammartino would be the only people profiled for the show.
This news angered many an Attitude Era fan, as they were hoping to see "Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy" get his due. So if you were one of the many fans who voiced your opinion, you can finally rest easy because your voice was heard.
On Thursday afternoon, Foley took to Twitter to deliver the good news and even credited Santa Claus for getting the job done.

Don't worry @RealMickFoley - I had a nice talk with @VinceMcMahon and your #WWEHOF speech Will be televised. All is calm, all is bright.
Overall, I am happy to hear the company came to its senses. Don't get me wrong, Donald Trump has been a big part of the WWE's rich history. However, this show should be about the company's wrestlers that have devoted their time and life to making the company what it is today.
That being said, up to this point, the WWE has done a great job at profiling its stars for this event. In fact, I have yet to be disappointed by its coverage of the ceremony.
Keep in mind, all of the induction footage is usually added to the WrestleMania DVD. So all in all, no one truly misses out on seeing their favorite stars' inductions.
In the end, I can't wait to see this special and am looking forward to seeing where Foley will be placed in the show.
