Breaking Treyfabe: 2012 Breaking Treyfabe Top 50
Posted: Jan 20th 2013 By: CMBurnham
Sorry for the delay in getting the first ever Breaking TreyFabe 50 released, news reporter Abbie Alford was late getting her votes in.
You see, unlike some other Oklahoma Indy Wrestling sites, we solicit votes from additional media. Outside of the Breaking TreyFabe staff and Abbie Alford, additional people who voted for this list include Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips, Ben Vereen, Esai Morales, Manti Te?o, the former athletic director of Tulsa University, all leasing agents for Braden Creek Apartments, Jose, and Michael Rappaport.
Lance Armstrong had originally sent in his ballot but due to recent events we are taking a stand of integrity and disavowing his input. He had JB Varsity as his wrestler of the year, fyi, and with the way our ballot was weighted JB would?ve received the top spot had Lance not gone on Oprah.
Another good thing about this list is that unlike other lists, the voters actually pay to go to wrestling events. This is helpful as it eliminates the bias you see where voters vote for their buddies that let them go to events for free, or lavish them with boat rides on Skiatook Lake. No friends, our voters are all fans of wrestling that support wrestling of all kinds with their pocketbook, as without continuous financial support, indy wrestling as we know it will cease to exist.
All of the wrestlers listed below are worth the price of admission, so as a message for 2013 the staff of Breaking TreyFabe encourage everyone to support local wrestling so that these wrestlers can continue to hone their craft and more importantly, bust their ass to entertain us all.
