Breaking Treyfabe: Quick Cuts

Good afternoon maggots.

Been a bit since we?ve put an issue out here at Breaking TreyFabe but not because we haven?t been going to every card possible in Tulsa.

Here are a few quick recaps of recent events (note, not all matches are covered) and thoughts on future events:

COMPOUND PRO WRESTLING:

- We journeyed out to our favorite venue in town, Perfect Practice, to catch Compound a few weeks back.
- Perfect Practice continues to be our favorite venue in town due to walking proximity to a pub with cheap drinks, full disclosure.
- Steven Sterling continues to be the master of the mat at ComPro with a solid wrestling exhibition win over Ignition to retain his Showtime Championship.
- Dirty Dutch Hagen defeated Richie Adams in a match between two of the best wrestlers in the area. Ritchie with a face turn (we?re not sure how we feel about that honestly) as Hagen got the victory and a title shot at a future event.
- Crossfire Morrison beat Goldeneye thanks to Richie?s help.
- The Legion of Bromance defeated Malice and Mr. Nasty Robert Lee to retain their ComPro Tag Team Championship. From our angle it looked like Max McGuirk broke the ankle of Malice while performing his finisher.
- Brandon Walker saved his ComPro career by defeating Tim Rockwell and capturing the ComPro Championship. Dutch of course helped this outcome a small bit, but no need for semantics.

So, what to expect at future ComPro events? Our thoughts:
- Steven Sterling needs some competition for the Showtime Championship, could Mr. Nasty make a run for that title perhaps?
- Where is Ace Archuleta? Where is my girlfriend? Could the absence of both of them at the show be a coincidence?
- Will Michael York ever cash in his money in the bank briefcase?
- When will we get a tag team clash between the two dominate teams in ComPro, the Bullies and the Legion of Bromance? This is certainly what the staff is wanting.
- Now that Rockwell is out of his way, does Dutch have his sights set on Brandon Walker?s belt? Where does the Canadian Red Devil fit in on this picture ? we?re saying Three Way Dance.
- How exactly can I get my hair to be as perfect as Richie Adams??

STEEL RAGE PRO WRESTLING:
- Steel Rage continues to pack in the seats at the Main Event Center in Sapulpa, and thankfully our seats were not taken this time.
- B-Arthur was crowned King during one of his short promos and announced an unfair 3 on 2 main event for the Tag Team Championship. B-Arthur and his Golden Alliance are trying real hard to capture all belts in the promotion but the Krazy/Extreme Avengers keep on thwarting their plans.
- B-Rabbit and Hado defeated the Come at Me Bros thanks to a run in from Ray Martinez who continues to stalk Robbie Awesome?s every move.
- After the match B-Rabbit took out his partner Hado, just because.
- Keith Knight made his SRPW return, this time with a newfound mean streak, as he defeated Cobra Bane.
- After that match Keith wanted more, so out came Cody Burns who turned in a terrific match and defeated Keith before intermission.
- Ray Martinez beat Miserio in a matchup of Latino wrestlers, after the match however Robbie Awesome came out and challenged Ray to a chain match.
- Brandon Groom had a solid squash match, dude is built, sheesh.
- In the main event the Krazy/Extreme Avengers defeated the Golden Alliance of Sam Stackhouse, B-Arthur, and Luke Langley to retain their Tag Team gold. Kid Krazy again provided high flying highlights at one point vaulting himself out of the ring to take out members of the alliance.

SRPW has an event next weekend, the 29th of September, back in Sapulpa, what to expect:
- Brandon Groom deserves a shot at Stackhouse for heavyweight gold, but first we suggest a warmup match against Cobra Bane perhaps.
- Keith Knight, bitter from his defeat to Burns, will probably be looking for a rematch.
- B-Arthur cannot have given up on his plans to hold all the gold, could another match for the tag championship be in the works perhaps, maybe a pairing of Langley and B-Rabbit better match the Krazy/Extreme Avengers.
- Speaking of extreme, how extreme will the chain match between Ray and Robbie be? We expect blood to be shed as all bets are off!

ELOTE LUCHADOR WRESTLING FEDERATION
- Not to be ones to ignore the biggest federation in town, we?d just like to point out that LuchaPalooza is coming up on October 6th downtown and it is certain to be a fun affair with wrestling, booths, and music.
- Scheduled to perform is one of our personal favorite singer/songwriters in town, Fiawna Forte.
- Matches scheduled as of press time are:

El Fenix Blanco vs. The Donkey
Stars and Stripes vs. I.C.U.
Grasshopper vs. Black Widow

- The match we are really looking forward to is El Diablo defending his Heavyweight Championship against local luchador icon La Mosca del Bar aka The Barfly.
- We may have some in depth interviews before this event if our press requests are granted so stay tuned for more news on this one.
