Breaking Treyfabe: Golden Alliance, Silver Lining

So I made it out to Sapulpa the other evening for a great night of Steel Rage Professional Wrestling. Third event in a month for me, had been out of it a bit due to too many conflicts. Brief summaries of those events:

Impact Wrestling at the Tulsa Convention Center:

Miss Tessmacher is hot oh my god!

Gail Kim is hot oh my god!

Austin Aries is a great heel/face hybrid champion

TNA has a great roster when it comes down to it, from Pope to Samoa Joe to Williams every wrestler put on great matches

Daniels and Kazarian?s pseudo homo-erotic ring entrance to a remix of Rod Stewart?s ?If You Want My Body? is just too amazing for words

It was fun marking out by the entrance rail and getting high fives from everyone including the robe girl

Saw a cute missed connections lady there with her son, no ring on her finger, and I was seriously about to go talk to her but she started marking out for Hardy and there is no way I could date any girl who is a fan of any of the Hardy?s.

Compound Pro Wresting at Practice Perfect:

My favorite wrestling venue still due to the proximity of Pickles Pub home of cheap mini pitchers

Nice to see Dirty Dutch back in the ring

The tag championship match gave me one of the hardest moral dilemmas I?ve faced since put on the spot in a dream fantasy sequence once where I had to choose either Betty or Veronica ? yes I know it is weird I have dream fantasy sequences with comic book characters?.

Back to the tag match, two of my favorite wrestlers were on opposite sides as Oklahoma?s greatest wrestler Richie Adams was up against the Legion of Bromance featuring the ever dreamy (no homo) Max McGuirk

The LOB won but as me and one other staff writer spoke a few weeks ago, Max and Justin should take on the roles of other tag teams each card ? for instance DemBroLition or the Fabulous Brobirds. What I wouldn?t give to see Justin Lee do the Freebird Strut

My favorite tag team, the Clockwork Clique featuring Crossfire Chris Morrison and Bobby Hill Star lost their matchup thanks to the interference of my girl?s favorite wrestler, Ace Archuleta

Ace is a beast and is certain to take over Compound

Main event was a very solid match as Super Skunk Ape Jr. beat Russ Rogers who is turning into one of my favorite heels to watch

The Steel Rage event at Main Event in Sapulpa was well attended by nearly every staff member of Breaking TreyFabe.

Graham Bell beat Kyle Everlast to win the SRPW US Heavyweight Championship. This was a very solid match. Graham was working the leg and had some concussion bearing kicks to the head. Though Kyle had a burst of offensive prowess mid match and had seemed to finally put Graham away, a shot to the head with the belt while the referee was not looking sealed the victory for Graham

One error found during the match was that Kyle was listed as being 6?1 and not the more impressive 6?2 that he actually is

Next Jonah Turk the commissioner came out but was interrupted by B-Arthur and his entourage, the newly named Golden Alliance which also featured Six Pack Sam Stackhouse, Sasha, and Luke Langley

Due to a bit of bullying, B-Arthur had Jonah sign over commissioner rights to him. Haven?t seen anything like this since Suge Knight did something similar to Vanilla Ice

Malice beat Rolling Thunder and B-Rabbit in a triple threat match. It was a solid and entertaining match but we at Breaking Treyfabe feel that B-Rabbit was at a disadvantage as it seemed Malice and Thunder were more intent on taking out Rabbit

Ray Martinez, a shiny Virgin Mary shirt, and the beauty that is Selena came out next to face up against Stephen Nitro. Martinez was quick to make fun of Nitro before the match, comparing him to a Lord of the Rings character. Martinez continued his distaste for the white people of ?Chalupa? and wasted no opportunities to work the crowd into a frenzy. He did deliver a line of wisdom that hopefully everyone took to heart but I?m sure none of them did when he said ?Dreams die because your parents raised you wrong.? That one hit too close to home Ray you bastard you

Cody Burns continued the Texas Outlaw legacy of his recently retired father, Bobby, by defeating K.C. Kyng in a great match. Both young wrestlers will be main eventing in no time

The match between Kobra Kai and the Lord of the Rings from Sand Springs, Mister Robbie Awesome was ruled a no contest after Martinez hammered both with chair shots. He continued to pummel Awesome with chair shot after chair shot until Awesome was near motionless. Will be interesting to see how far this blood feud will go

Tag Champions Kid Krazy and Jake O?Brien ended up beating Luc Langley and the Boss Jon Cross in a highly entertaining match. Jon Cross? back and forth banter with the crowd made me realize that the poor guy may be sexually frustrated. Example #1 ?I?m gonna double team your wife.? Example #2 ?You?ll have plenty of time to say my name later.?

It could be that sexual frustration that cost Cross and Langley the match ? as a service to Jon Cross the staff of Breaking TreyFabe will provide him with a few websites that may get him some release before the next card

In the main event of the evening, Sam Stackhouse retained his heavyweight championship by defeating Gorilla Nate Martinez. Granted, the hooliganism of the Golden Alliance certainly helped Stackhouse

All in all, it was a very solid match that built up some feuds to look forward to in the future

Speaking of the future, word on the streets is that one of the local Tulsa wrestler?s is ready to make his jump from dinner theatre to legit Oklahoma Indy wrestling at a card in the very near future, so stay tuned and eat your vitamins brotha!
