Brian Breaker's last match for World League Wrestling was this past Friday in Springfield, MO. He defeated WLW Heavyweight Champion Jason Jones (not "The Space Cowboy") by DQ in his final match before heading off to Tampa, FL to start his developmental deal with WWE at Florida Championship Wrestling. On Monday he posted on his Facebook page, "My last night with WLW isn't one I'll ever forget. I had to say goodbye to many good people but I think chances are I'll be seeing them sooner or later down in Florida!" Oklafan wishes him the best of luck.

Despite several reports stating the sale is final, WWE is still in negotiations to purchase the Mid-South and UWF video library from Ene Watts, the former wife of Bill Watts. As of this morning, UniversalWrestling.com is still taking orders for DVDs. Also, the following message was posted by Universal Wrestling on their Facebook page "INDEPENDENCE DAY SALE Enter this coupon code all in CAPS in the COUPON CODE section of your shopping cart and receive 20% OFF all our UWA products site wide at www.universalwrestling.com ! Sale is good until we sell to WWE or July 5, 2012, whichever comes first!"

Last Monday, Vader returned to RAW and defeated Heath Slater. WWE is planning on returning legends over the next few weeks leading up to the 1,000th episode of Raw on July 23rd. After the show, Vader posted on Twitter "Wow what a fantastic night. I want to thank the @WWE from the bottom of my heart. I also want to thank all the fans for the love & Support."

After helping to broadcast the "WWE NXT" tapings last week, Jim Ross posted on Twitter "Enjoyed working w/ @RealKingRegal & Byron Saxton on NXT. I appeared on each show and helped w/ the main events. Back in Orlando July 12."

Former WWF Women?s champion Madusa, who wrestled in WWF as Alundra Blayze, was at WWE's "No Way Out" pay-per-view on Sunday in East Rutherford, NJ. Madusa was sitting ringside for the show and even posted a photo of her view from her seat on Twitter. The 48 year old was at her first WWE show since she left the company abruptly in 1995. Madusa left WWF under the worst circumstances, showing up on "WCW Monday Nitro" in December 1995 and throwing the WWF Women's Title into a trashcan live on television. The move was planned by Eric Bischoff who was battling WWF for ratings at the time and Madusa later admitted that she regretted doing what she did. In January of this year, she posted a video on YouTube showing that she still had the original WWF Women?s Title and said she would wrestle Beth Phoenix for the real title. She was recently approached by WWE to film some interviews for the WWE Network and it appears that the bad blood between the two parties is now a thing of the past. Madusa is now a monster truck driver and in 2005 she became the first woman to ever win the Monster Jam World Finals.

The Score Network's Arda Ocal interviewed Bret Hart and Part 2 is now available. Among the subjects talked about is how Bret feels Ric Flair sabotaged him in his first run as WWF World Champion. He said "Flair was a tricky guy to work with, when I worked with Ric. When he was champion we had much better matches and the moment the title got switched we seemed to screw up my match every night? I always felt it was sabotage. I actually went to Vince, cause (Flair) was leaving the company, I thought he was purposely screwing up to ruin my run. We finally got the agents and Flair in a room to try give a little better effort in the matches and at least follow the story line? He confessed his mind wasn?t into the matches and he was having some problems at home. We would go out after the big talk and have the same screwed up match as we had the night before. I think over a period of time over the next few weeks I can remember Vince coming up to me saying he didn?t think Ric Flair was doing it on purpose ? that he just didn?t know hat he was doing. I kind of agreed after a while. Ric Flair, as great was and a hard worker as he was, he just tends to get lost in the ring." Hart also stated his opinion as to why his WWF World Title win over Flair was at a house show in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada instead of on live TV or a pay-per-view. He said "I think it must have been some kind of condition agreed to by Vince and Flair. I can?t imagine Flair saying that he didn?t want to lose on T.V or something like that- maybe it was something like that. I know Flair, upon dropping the title, gave Vince news that he was leaving and going back to WCW, at the time. So, I think it was all amicable. It should be noted that the Doink pictured was Matt Borne, but the author said he didn't care who donned the makeup and wig. The story was also written prior to Foley appearing on last night's RAW. TNA Wrestling issued a press release announcing the induction of former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting into the TNA Hall of Fame. ?Sting came to TNA when we needed a major superstar to help establish the company. It made a statement when he signed with us, and he helped pave the way for
other major names to join the roster. Eight years later he continues to reinvent himself, and I think he is doing his best work-to-date,? TNA President Dixie Carter said. The press release revealed that the announcement of Sting for the Hall of Fame ? and the Slammiversary pay-per-view ? were held in front of the largest crowd for a TNA show in the United States, however no figures were released as far as attendance goes. Sting will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame during a
ceremony at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

For weeks now, Scott Steiner has been going hard after Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and most recently, Brooke Hogan on Twitter. The feeling is that Steiner is trying to get Jeff Jarrett back in power at TNA, as he is tight with him.

In a recent edition of "Wrestle Talk TV Extra", Hulk Hogan discusses the roles of Sting and Ric Flair in TNA and shares his views on their contribution to the roster and what the "Impact Wrestling" roster bring to the table. You can see the clip by clicking here.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ric Flair is reportedly no longer under contract with TNA and hasn?t been paid by TNA on his contract either. Flair is believed to have quit the promotion on or around May 9th and stopped showing up to events he was scheduled for. He is named in TNA?s lawsuit against WWE although WWE claims that TNA terminated his contract before filing the lawsuit.

Junkyard Dog will be inducted into the Mid-States Wrestling Hall of Fame on July 14th at their "Legends Show" in Harrison, AR. JYD will be inducted along with two of the company's most beloved homegrown stars, Kevin Lovejones and Adrian Steel.

Women's wrestler Diane Von Hoffman posted on Twitter "I?m so honored! I have been asked to speak at a banquet honoring Moolah and,Sir Oliver Humperdink Sept 1 in Vancouver, BC. More news to come"

The Travel Channel's "Mysteries of the Museum" last Wednesday had a piece on Maurice Tillet, the French Angel, who was a big drawing card in wrestling in the early 1940s when billed as the world's ugliest man. He had acromegaly, giving him enlarged features like Andre the Giant, Great Khali, Bigfoot Silva, and others but he was only about 5' 10" so his was more noticeable than anyone except perhaps Andre at the end of his life. The look enabled promoters to bill him as having superhuman strength.

Deadspin.com has a story entitled "Goldust Stays In Character At Toys ?R? Us: More Wrestler Run-Ins" and in the story are accounts of several fans meeting wrestlers who turned out to be less than pleasant to them. In addition, any new wrestling licenses being purchased now must also have a blood test for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
