WWE News: Update on Ric Flair and Matt Morgan's WWE Future

As we all know by now, both Matt Morgan and Ric Flair have been removed from TNA TV. Flair was by choice, while Morgan was written off due to his contract coming to an end.
Since their departures, rumors have run rampant about whether or not Morgan and Flair were WWE bound. Last week, Morgan was asked about his WWE plans via twitter and responded with the following:

As of this article, Morgan is still prominently featured in Direct Auto Insurance commercials, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but they are huge sponsors of TNA. To me, after seeing that tweet, Direct Auto and TNA should be working hard to produce a new commercial starring a TNA mainstay like Kurt Angle or Sting.
On the flip-side, Morgan may be trolling fans as most wrestlers do and may be working on a new TNA contract.
Now on to Flair, TNA and the WWE have been involved in some legal issues regarding a former TNA-turned-WWE employee. This employee was said to be giving up info on TNA talent contracts and their term dates.
This was cause for concern, because the WWE could start wooing (pun intended) TNA talent as soon as their contracts expired. Flair was a big bone of contention, since he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Four Horseman while under TNA's umbrella.
Since then, Flair has been acting a bit sketchy by not showing up to live events and most recently several TV tapings. Now it appears this case may be coming to an end as wrestlinginc.com reports:
WWE Attorney Jerry McDevitt recently sent a letter to TNA legal counsel Erika Blonquist. The letter was filed with the court last week and can be read below:
First, and as I advised you orally on the phone during our recent conference call, WWE has not solicited Ric Flair to leave TNA and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has made no offer to Flair and has no intention of doing so.
Second, as I also advised you, WWE has not solicited any other current TNA talent to repudiate their contracts and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has no interest in current TNA talent.
So as it stands, right now, it appears Flair will not be headed to WWE, while Morgan's status is still unknown. Ultimately, it is imperative for WWE to start courting Morgan as he is a hot commodity and the WWE is in dire need for some main-event talent to fill it's roster. Especially, with Randy Orton and Chris Jericho's WWE future's in limbo.
In the end, I am a fan of TNA and would love to see Morgan stick around.
The only catch is, he has to be used properly. Unfortunately, "The DNA of TNA" hasn't witnessed a real push since his TNA debut, and he would probably stand a better chance for success in WWE.
I guess we will have to wait and see what the future holds for both men in the weeks and months to come.
