Review of new Hacksaw Jim Duggan book

Review of new Hacksaw Jim Duggan book

Posted: Jun 5th 2012 By: mikeiles

I had the pleasure of reading 236 pages of ?Hacksaw? Jim Duggan?s biography. I found it to be very inspirational and full of great stories in wrestling history.

If your looking for a book about: wrestling history, car crashes and overcoming personal problems. This book's is for you. The first few chapters describe Jim?s upbringing. His college career and his stint in the NFL. From there it?s stories about traveling with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, his feuds with Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase. He goes into great details about their personal lives too.

Winning the Royal Rumble, his infamous car ride with the Iron Sheik, Along with his career in WCW AND WWE. Battling cancer and more stories about life on the road. It really is inspirational and offers details into life on the road. The only downfall about this book is his skipping from one story to the next without much explanation. For example, one page he is talking about batting Magnum T. A. then all the sudden he goes into Lex Luger not being a ?All American Hero? like him. It can get quite confusing. But over all, a great read.
