Beth Phoenix?s injury last Monday night on RAW in Detroit, MI was indeed a work. She apparently sold it so well that wrestlers backstage thought she was really hurt, reports PWInsider.com.

WWE Mobile sent out a message early on Sunday "BREAKING NEWS: Beth Phoenix is not medically cleared to compete. A mystery opponent will challenge Divas Champion: Nikki Bella tonight at Extreme Rules". The mystery opponent was Layla who defeated Bella for the title.

Mick Foley will be going on the road and doing some house shows as a referee on the SmackDown brand, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

WWE posted on Twitter "Medical officials have confirmed that Paul Bearer is being treated for hypothermia after Kane locked him in the freezer on #Raw last night". This is part of the on-screen angle.

Paul Bearer posted some pictures from his trip to the Cauliflower Alley Club convention on his blog site. The pictures are of wrestling personalities such as Kevin Von Erich, B. After the 4th match at "Extreme Reunion" in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, Angel Medina of The Baldies came to the ring for a promo. The Gangstas' music played, there was a brawl, and Ruckus and Jeez hit the ring for save. Jack fired back and brawled with Ruckus. Angel worked over Mustafa as Jeez and Ruckus worked over Jack. They finally walked off. It was described as the beginning of a storyline.

The Honky Tonk Man was a guest on The Score Network's "Aftermath", hosted by Arda Ocal. Among the highlights were the decision for him to win the WWF Intercontinental Title, whether he imagined that he would hold the title for such a long time, dropping the title to The Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam 1988, his memories of wrestling the likes of Bret Hart on the Canadian wrestling circuit, and much more.
