On the January 15th edition of WWE RAW from Bossier City, LA right before the main event of Shawn Michaels vs. WWE RAW World Tag Team Champion Rated RKO (Randy Orton & Edge), MSWA Heavyweight Champion & IZW Impact Division Champion Ryan Davidson and John O'Malley appeared as security guards confiscating D-Generation X posters from the fans in attendance.

On ESPN radio in New York, Stephen A. Smith talked about how he's a big wrestling fan, saying his favorites were Ric Flair, The Road Warriors, Magnum T.A., and "The American Dream, Dusty Baker." He said his all-time favorite was Bill Goldberg and said Vince McMahon made a mistake not keeping him. A caller then said Bobby Lashley is the new Goldberg. Smith said there will never be another Goldberg and there will never be another Flair.

Ric Flair attended the NFC Championship Game between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, January 21st. He was scheduled to do an announcement video at the start of the game.

WWE's "Born To Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story" is ranked #6 on Billboard Magazine's current Top 10 Recreational Sports DVD list.

WWE's "Wrestlemania III" which featured Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant in the main event will be released on DVD a few weeks before Wrestlemania XXIII.

WWE Classic Superstars Series 13 has been released and includes Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig), Bret Hart, Al Snow (w/ Head), Bad News Brown, Brother Love, Droz, Dusty Rhodes (younger version), The Mountie (Jacques Rougeau), Luna Vachon, Ernie Ladd, and The Undertaker.

Brad Armstrong recently started a stint as color commentator on TV for WWE's developmental organization Deep South Wrestling. He style was thought to be serious old school and no comedy whatsoever. Armstrong also referred to the DSW Tag Team Titles as belts, which according to rumor, is against Vince McMahon orders as he has said that all titles in WWE and the developmetal feds are to be called "titles" on TV not "belts" or "straps".

WWE officially announced the signing of Nattie Neidhart, daughter of Jim Neidhart, to a developmental deal on January 16th. She is a third generation wrestler and the first female brought to the company by the legendary Hart Family.

TNA Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor will be on "Trash Talking Radio" on Tuesday January 23rd at 6:00 central time. You can listen at www.trashtalkingradio.com/

Kocosports.com & their sister site Combat-TV.com are in possession of and have exclusive rights to Bam Bam Bigelow's final wrestling match. The match took place Tuesday, Oct 24th, 2006 for American Combat Wrestling, which is aired weekly at Combat-TV.com. The tag team encounter sees Florida independent workers Twiztid & Homeless Fred vs. Bam Bam Bigelow & Roughouse Ralph Mosca. They are offering it free for viewing in light of Bam Bam's recent death.

In the last rankings for 2006 for the Arkansas & Kansas based Mid-States Wrestling had Michael Barry ranked #1, Jason Jones #2, Jake Boulder #3, Aaron Neil #4, Gary Gram #5, and Jack Dalton #7. In the tag team rankings for Mid-States, Michael Barry & Thomas Thorn are ranked #1, John O'Malley & Se7en #2, Jake Boulder & Jason Jones #3, Butch Reed & Griz #4, and Kenny Campbell & Mitch Carter #5.
