WWE News: Ric Flair and Dixie Carter Comment on Hall of Fame Induction
Posted: Mar 28th 2012 By: mikeiles
Over the last few months there has been a lot of speculation on whether or not Ric Flair will be attending the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony.
He is being inducted for the second time?this time as part of The Four Horsemen.
It has been confirmed by wwe.com that he will be in attendance for the ceremony.
Legacy Talent, the company that represents Ric Flair, issued a press release earlier today on his induction to the WWE Hall of Fame.
Flair commented on the induction:
Being inducted once was one of the greatest accomplishments of my career, so I?m humbled and honored to be recognized again. I wouldn?t miss the ceremony for the world.
TNA President Dixie Carter also commented on Flair's induction:
We are proud of Ric?s many accomplishments and contributions he has made to the world of professional wrestling and beyond. We wish to congratulate him on yet another honor he truly deserves.
With the WWE now acknowledging that Flair will be in attendance, he will most likely appear on camera along with Horsemen members Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and J.J. Dillon.
Although TNA and the WWE are rival wrestling promotions, it is good to see that they can come to an agreement and allow Ric Flair to be a part of this monumental induction to the WWE Hall of Fame.
