WWE News: Former Employee Recovering from Two Heart Attacks

Bruce Prichard, who most wrestling fans have come to know as the WWE personality Brother Love, had suffered from two apparent heart attacks according to PWInsider.com.

The site reported earlier this week that he had to take some time off from TNA television due to a personal situation. The site did not disclose the apparent reason out of respect for Prichard, but earlier today they disclosed the situation.

Former WWE champion and commentator JBL (John Bradshaw Layfield) commented on the status of Prichard on his official Facebook page:

"Very happy one of my best friends Brother Love (Bruce Prichard) is ok after suffering two apparent heart attacks this past week. He's got two new stents and doctor says that according to his research he actually does have a heart. Very, very happy that my pal is ok. A few years ago Gerald Brisco, who hired me at WWE and is also good friend of mine and Bruce's, had a heart attack-so apparently both of them have a heart-who would have believed it?"

Prichard debuted in the WWE in 1988 as Brother Love, a red-faced, loud and sarcastic preacher, and hosted a segment called "The Brother Love Show."

Prichard managed The Undertaker for a brief period after his debut in 1990. He was released from the company but returned in 1993.

He worked for the company until his release in 2008 and became a member of the TNA Creative Team in 2010.

In 2011, Prichard was promoted to TNA Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations. Everyone here at Bleacher Report wish him well and hope for a speedy recovery.
