WWE News: Latest on Ric Flair Attending WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony
Posted: Mar 2nd 2012 By: mikeiles
Following the announcement that the Four Horsemen will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame later this month, questions have surrounded whether or not the leader of the legendary wrestling stable, Ric Flair, would be able to attend the ceremony in Miami.
With Flair being a part of the TNA Impact Wrestling roster, would the company give the Nature Boy official permission to be in attendance when the Four Horsemen get inducted in the Hall of Fame?
From Wrestling News Source via Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
However, it's now being reported that TNA officials have yet to officially give Flair the okay to attend the ceremony, although the popular belief has been that Flair would probably attend whether they give him their "official" blessing or not. It was thought that TNA would probably just let him go and appear on camera with the Horsemen anyway, but it is still said to be "up in the air."
To steal the Miz?s catchphrase?really?! Really?
With everything that Ric Flair has done over his four-decade career in professional wrestling, TNA has no right to tell the Nature Boy what he can and can?t do. Especially considering that his group, the Four Horsemen, are being honored by the WWE.
I understand that it does look a little strange for Flair, a TNA employee, to be a part of a WWE event, but it would look even stranger if the Four Horsemen were on the stage without the Nature Boy in Miami.
Whether or not TNA gives their blessing for Flair to be in attendance at the ceremony, I would expect to see him strutting out on stage with the rest of the Horsemen on the night before WrestleMania.
So, Bleachers, do you believe Ric Flair really needs permission from TNA to attend the upcoming Hall of Fame ceremony with the rest of the Horsemen?
