WWE News: Trish Stratus "Eager to Feud with Beth Phoenix"
Posted: Feb 26th 2012 By: mikeiles
If the WWE can't give us Beth Phoenix/Kharma how about Phoenix/Stratus? Wrestling News Source is reporting that Trish Stratus would like to feud with Phoenix. Here are Stratus' comments:
"A match with Beth would be pretty amazing! I think she's just awesome in the ring. As a fan, stepping out of Trish the performer, I'd like to see myself and Beth Phoenix. With all the teases we've had along the way, to have a one-on-one match would be awesome. I'd love to work her. That's definitely on my bucket list. I've got a lot in me. I really do. Physically I'm at my best."
"One of the key things that made me leave was the fact that my body was just beat, but at this point I'm healthy and strong. I feel I could go back and take the beatings ? and then some. I always leave the door open, because you never know. It sounds so clich?, but if the right opportunity presented itself I would obviously take advantage of it."
Hopefully I am not the only one who thinks a Beth Phoenix/Trish Stratus feud would be interesting. Both women can wrestle a great match and having them in the ring together would mean that we could finally see a respectable divas match again. The diva's division has been terrible lately and with Kharma still healing from her pregnancy, Stratus could come in and give Phoenix a great feud, and maybe even win the divas championship.
Obviously this is just small talk on Stratus' part but it does insight interest in me, and hopefully you as well. I think we all would like to see Stratus back in the WWE and this would be a great way to do it.
