JR's Blog: NEW Blog...Tons of Q&A's Addressed...Raw, OU, Lesnar, PAC 12, Wrestlemania, 9/11, WWEShop.com. Sauce It!

We appreciate you dropping by and paying us a visit. Trying to catch up with blogging but do invite you to follow me at Twitter @JRsBBQ. Plus, we're developing new Beef Jerky flavors and an all purpose seasoning which is keeping us busy not to mention weekly travel. Lets address many questions that have sent to the Q&A section of the site and via Twitter @JRsBBQ:

Korchenko was the name of the 'Russian' managed by Eddie Gilbert who Bill Watts literally and physically ran out of the UWF Territory in 1986. I never knew what became of the guy.

Anxious to read Stan Hansen's book. Stan was a stud and arguably the biggest American star ever, or Dick Beyer aka Destroyer, in Japanese wrestling. Stan writes about how Watts used to send instructions to the talents via a tape recorder when Cowboy was unable to be at live events. I remember carrying that tape recorder on road trips and protecting it like it was gold. Watts was a detail freak which was one reason that his business was largely successful. Bill was a hard nosed coach, tough love type of guy.

For those asking how to be hired in WWE, please stop. I hire no one but our yard guy and the pool person and actually the Mrs does that. Those jobs are filled. If one isn't smart enough to figure out how to apply for work at WWE, or any where else, perhaps they aren't ready for a real job.

Same goes for your WWE marketing and creative ideas....let it go...I can't help facilitate any thing in that world. If you have suggestions on BBQ Sauce, Beef Jerky, etc, let me have them.

I can't say definitely that the "Best Express" tag team was Rock 'n Roll or Midnight Express but manager Jim Cornette likely gives MX the nod. Both were amazing teams with all involved being products of the territory system which is absent in today's genre.

Not doing any official meet and greets in Tallahassee, Florida when I'm there for the Florida State vs. Oklahoma game next week but if you see me, please feel free to say hello. I'm 'fan friendly.' Excited about this trip and game. Huge test for OU.

Speaking of football, seems as if the Sooners are leaning toward the Pac 12 but a trip to the SEC could always happen too. OU officials seem to be confident that we OU fans will know something this month. If the OU vs. Texas game goes away it will be a shame but most admit that UT has been a pain in the ass to deal with politically, etc for quite some time.

Brock Lesnar returns to fight on December 30 in Las Vegas and I hope that it's not too early for Lesnar. Feels early to me considering Brock has been recovering from major surgery. I hope that I'm wrong on this one but Lesnar's situation feels vulnerable. Nonetheless I'll be pulling for the former WWE Champion be to Alistar Overeem and I'm considering attending the event based on Monday Night Raw and the OU Bowl schedule.

For the record and for those who have asked, I do not watch the Warriors rants on Hulk so I don't comment on them in a specific nature. I have no dog in that fight ....meaning what is said is none of my business.

Wrestlemania site selection seems to be trending to dome stadiums or, like 2012, to warm weather, outdoor stadiums IE Miami. When fans who have big stadiums in their area ask about 'Mania sites, think about the time of the year and the weather. Cold weather sites aren't good for night time, outdoor wrestling events last I checked.

I'll never forget being in Houston on the devastating day of 9/11. We had done Raw the night before and had traveled to Houston to record Smackdown on Tuesday evening for a Thursday night airing. We went live that Thursday night for an amazingly memorable show. Most vivid memory for me that night as it relates to specifics to the show was Lilian Garcia singing. Lil delivered big time. I'll write more on my personal 9/11 memories soon.

We have approximately 218,000 Twitter followers @JRsBBQ and I hope that you will consider following us as I try and take time to answer as many Tweets as possible from fans. My new, IPad helps and it's been made airplane friendly.

Best HBK-Taker Wrestlemania match? Being totaly egocentric here, I'd say the first one because that's the one I got to be a part of during WM25 in Houston. Both were amazing in ring stories that I'd encourage young wretlers to study to see the what the art of story telling truly is.

I'd suggest that Survivor Series tickets, that become available this Saturday morning at 10 in NYC, will sell out in a matter of minutes for what may be one of the most 'electrifying' Survivor Series PPV's in recent memory. Working at Madison Square Garden is still a HUGE thrill and an honor for me.

Starting to gather up more notes and thoughts on a potential book I'd like to write 'someday.' I'll likely wait until I'm off the road to seriously begin the process. I'm attempting to organize my thoughts so that I can be through with what I cover and still leave some content for book #2 if it were to happen.

If you like to be informed on a variety of topics I'd suggest that you follow JBL on Twitter @JCLayfield. Great stuff daily.

I'll be watching Virginia at Indiana this Saturday, with my Sooners off. @IUCoachWilson is my former neighbor and former OU coach Kevin Wilson who is attempting to instill a new attitude and to revitalize the Hoosier football program.

Unlike some cranky travelers, I look forward to Monday Night Raw in Ottawa this week. It's not a Canadian issue as much as it is a Customs issue as some Customs Officials can be intoxicated on their power and badges. I adopted a strategy long ago to cooperate completely, be friendly, and call it a day. Works for me. Plus, Canadian crowds are often times some of the very best audiences for which the WWE performs.

WWEShop continues to grow our brand and were even on back order a few days ago with our Beef Jerky and JR's Original BBQ Sauce but are not in stock. Check out the link @ http://www.wweshop.com/Category/JimRoss and see their offers including the bundle deal that includes an authentic, autographed, over sized card of yours truly. We need and appreciate all your support and thank you for it.

Enjoyed the way that WWE provided several talents TV time Monday night in Columbus, Ohio on Raw. Nice stragegy. As June Cleaver once told husband Ward when referring to their youngest son, "Gee, Ward you were a little rough on the Beaver last night," as I've been hammered by various entities for my perceived, poor performance at the announce desk Raw Monday night. Nothing I can do about my failings but to do better next time out. As my late Dad used to say, "No hill for a stepper."

When asked what was my favorite Twitter question of the week it would have to be what is my favorite beer? Answer....FREE & COLD.

Thanks, again for dropping by and checking out this blog and pleae tell your friends about oru site and about http://www.wweshop.com/Category/JimRoss for all your BBQ Sauce, Ketchup, Mustard, and Beef Jerky needs. We're grateful to be a part of many of your tailgate activities.

Boomer Sooner!
