SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat announced that if the next SWCW show on October 1st packed The Underground Arena, the show after that would be a free show. He also encouraged people to bring as many single women to the show as possible in an attempt to find Milton Winkelman a date. He said that if Milton found someone he liked, SWCW would foot the bill for the date between the two.

SWCW is in discussions to begin broadcasting on Telemundo in mid-to-late 2012. Representatives from the local Telemundo affiliate were present filming at Saturday?s SWCW event.

The documentary portion of WWE's upcoming Steve Austin DVD ?The Stone Cold Steve Austin Story? is a huge 2.5 hours long and is now confirmed as a 4-disc DVD box set. Among the many matches listed is Austin vs. the late Chris Adams from a USWA show in 1990. The set goes on sale on November 29th.

"WWE Monday Night RAW", broadcast live from Tulsa last week, did a 3.15 rating of hours 3.23 and 3.06 with an average of 4,650,000 viewers.

There is an interview with 88-year-old Mae Young in the October edition of WWE Magazine. She says Vince McMahon has promised her a match if she lives to be 100. ?I plan on wrestling when I?m 100. My grandmother lived to be 113, so I figure I can make it into the ring when I?m 100. Vince promised me a match with his daughter, Stephanie, and his granddaughter, Aurora Rose, when I?m 100-years-old. I?ve got to live to see that.?

Alberto Del Rio was still stuck in Mexico as he awaited his U.S. work visa to be renewed, thus missing the live RAW in Tulsa and SmackDown in Wichita, KS last week. Del Rio was only supposed to be missing the weekend live events as he went back home to get his papers settled but delays prevented him from entering back in the United States and be a part of the two shows. WWE advertised their champ for a match against Sin Cara for last week?s SmackDown but his name was pulled out after it became obvious he wasn't going to make it back. Del Rio was advertised to wrestle CM Punk Friday during the live show in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet of WOIO in Cleveland, OH, TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett said that the company is currently in a transition period when it comes to the name, with both TNA and IMPACT Wrestling being used to refer to the wrestling organization. His comments somewhat suggest that eventually they will be moving away from the name TNA and start using the IMPACT name only. The name IMPACT Wrestling was launched during the May 3, 2011 edition of the company?s flagship show, renaming their Thursday broadcast from TNA iMPACT!. The name carries the tagline of ?Where Wrestling Matters.? TNA also redirected all traffic from their tnawrestling.com website to ImpactWrestling.com. To see the interview, click here.

The Wrestling Observer reports that The Ric Flair vs. Sting match originally scheduled for TNA's "No Surrender" will not be on the pay-per-view on September 11th, but has been moved to the "Impact Wrestling" TV taping in Orlando, FL on September 12th and airing on September 15th. If Sting wins his match he will get a match against Hulk Hogan while if Ric Flair wins the match Sting has to leave the company.

Asistencia Asesor?a y Administraci?n alluded to booking Sting via Twitter for their October 9th show in Monterrey, Mexico.

Nathan Evans, timekeeper and bell ringer for MWA, has been accepted into the United States Air Force. he will be fully enlisted when he graduates from Ketchum High School in May 2011. Nathan has also played the National Anthem before the MWA shows and is the son of MWA co-owner and referee Jeremy Evans.

Compound Pro Wrestling has postponed their "Chaos in Collinsville" event that was scheduled for September 23rd in Collinsville, OK due to building complications. No reschedule date has been announced.

He defeated The Canadian Luchadore for the title in a Triple Threat Match that also included Sam Stackhouse at a show on August 14th in Tulsa.
