Flair said that WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions Randy Orton & Edge weren't championship material, they were pathetic. Eventually, all the wrestlers looked as if they were about to get in the ring at the same time when Vince McMahon came out and said that there would be a Survivor Series Captain's Match as the main event this night: Ric Flair, Degeneration X & WWE RAW World Champion John Cena vs. Spirit Squad member Kenny, ECW World Champion The Big Show & WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions Randy Orton & Edge.

Chris Masters sucker punched Carlito as he was trying to escort Torrie Wilson out of the ring. Jerry Lawler came in to assist Carlito. Masters retreated up the ramp while Carlito & Lawler stood their ground in the ring.

Ric Flair was dancing with Candace Michelle in the back when Spirit Squad member Kenny came up to him. Candace kissed Flair and told him she'd see him later. Kenny told Flair that youth would prevail this weeked at the Survivor Series and it didn't matter to him who Flair got to replace Roddy Piper on his team. Flair said he had 2 words for Kenny. Flair said "Whoooo!", then Ron Simmons walked up and said "Damn!".

Dusty Rhodes cut a promo, full of Dusty-isms, before heading out to the ring to take on a member of the Spirit Squad.

Dusty Rhodes def. Spirit Squad member Nicky.

11-23 NWA-TNA iMPACT

Sting descended into the arena and challenged Christian Cage. Sting said he's in a bad mood. Cage said he didn't care and demanded that Sting put his title rematch against NWA World Champion Abyss on the line in their match. Sting said "It's showtime!"

A. J. Styles & NWA World X Division Champion Christopher Daniels def. The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens, w/ Shane Douglas). After the match, Rhino came out to talk with A. J. & Daniels, but A. J. walked out of the ring, yelling at Daniels that Rhino was sticking his nose in business that didn't concern him. This was billed as the last time that Styles & Daniels would work appear together as a tag team.

Jim Cornette was in the ring. He said that he was there to take the NWA World Tag Team Title belts from the Latin American Xchange, but before he got to that, he wanted to bring out a real American hero. Out came Petey Williams with an American flag. Cornette said that there was some time when they didn't know where Williams' loyalty lied. Petey said that he's a Canadian and that's caused him to have some problems with people in TNA, but he knew where LAX was going with their issue with the flag and he didn't like that. Cornette asked that the baton be lowered and the flag be raised on it. He then asked that everyone stand for the U.S. national anthem was played. As the music started, LAX came out with their attornies. Cornette asked if they were going to hand over the tag team belts. Konnan said no, instead they were here to serve some papers. Konnan claimed that TNA violated LAX's 1st amendment rights and he's planning on suing Jim Cornette for everything he has. Petey Williams attacked LAX, but was overpowered. Hotstuff Hernandez then buried Williams under the Mexican flag while Konnan went after Jim Cornette. At this point, America's Most Wanted came out. LAX turned their attention to Gail Kim while AMW tried to protect her. Then Kurt Angle hit the ring and cleared it of LAX. While AMW & Cornette are thanking Angle, Samoa Joe appeared at the top of the ramp. Everyone but Angle left the ring as the show went to a break.

Christian Cage and Sting wrestled to a No-Contest in a match to determine the #1 contender to the NWA World Title. Sting accidentaly hit the Stinger Splash on the referee, knocking him unconscious.
