The HYPE is REAL, MWA Returns To Spavinaw!

Maximum Wrestling Alliance returns home to where it started Spavinaw, OK. With MWA on the road now doing shows in Vinita bi-monthly, rumor has it they maybe invading Grove, OK too. But in MWA there is still a lot of action each show, and I can barely sit. Can't wait for November 5th.

In Vinita, "Terrific" Tim Rockwell faced a returning Canadian Red Devil, great back and forth match until Tim Rockwell used his cheating tactics, and wham blasted CRD with the cowbell. but, the hype doesn't come until he noticed his former tag partner and uncle, Bernard Funk. Rockwell had some harsh words for ole Uncle Bernie, insulting his wife and kids, and verbally insulting his wrestling career. Bernard Funk fired back by snatching the microphone from him and letting his nephew Tim Rockwell know, that he will be in Spavinaw on November 5th!

What does that mean? Is Bernard Funk coming out of retirement? Is he just playing mind games with his nephew? Or will he just simply be there to watch the show again? The hype is real!


What about Michael Barry and Max McGuirk? Michael Barry defeated Gary Gram at the Vinita show, but Max McGuirk was not at the show. I expect this feud to continue according to Michael Barry, this where the hype is.

Barry did an interview with Scott James on MWA radio (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/maximumwrestlingradio) where he discussed that its not over with Max McGuirk, that Max cost him something that meant so much to Mr. Saturday Night. He even went to say that "The MWA title is on loan right now, when the time is right he will get it back!"

Does Mr. Saturday Night plan to finish off Max McGuirk and then go after his own friend and stablemate? I heard another rumor that MWA is planning to give Barry and McGuirk what they want and that's a match against each other!


Jeff Starchild has been chasing the MWA Championship ever since he lost it. Now Starchild is back and wants to get his belt back from "Handsome" Jack Legacy. But can he? His team of Butch Reed and himself came up short in Vinita against Jack Legacy and Angel. He also came up short in a 6-man tag match in September at the MWA 2 year Anniversary Show.

Is the hype real? Will Starchild challenge Jack Legacy again for the MWA Championship? I assume Jack will defend his belt on November 5th, since he hasn't defended in over 60 days. But the question is who will challenge him? Will it be Jeff Starchild or will a new MWA Star step up?

Dustin Heritage has been on fire since winning the Max-Division Championship. But I think a challenger has stepped up, and I think he may have met his match, his name is Blake Albright. Former MWA Champion seems to have his eye on the MWA Max-Division belt. Albright and Heritage had a 5 star match at the Anniversary Show, and the hype of the crowd wanted it to go longer. But saved by the bell, time limit draw approached and Heritage got to keep his belt. In Vinita both men looked impressive by picking up wins, Heritage defeated MWA newcomer "Bad" Brad Michaels, and Blake defeated the Longhorn Assassin.

So, with that said will we see another hyped match between Heritage and Albright on November 5th?


Stevie Caballero, can put together some tag teams, this was the manger of the Triple-Crown Tag Team Champions (then) Texas, Inc. now he created a tag team, that I seriously think can't be stopped. Behind "Big" Stevie is two huge monster, Dutch Hagen and Boris Saarikoski. And on November 5th they face the tag team that they won the MWA Tag Team Championships from, The Old School Express, Jake Boulder and Jason Jones.

But, you see this isn't any ordinary tag team match. (this is where the hype is) it's a non-sanction match! Meaning there is no music, there is no rules, and the referee won't be employed by MWA! This match here will be brutal, worst than anything you've ever seen. Old School has a score to settle and like in the Old School Butt Whoopin' Match we know Jake and Jason can bring whatever Stevie and his foreigners have up their sleeves.


The HYPE of this show will for sure be REAL, hope to see everyone there on November 5th.
