News:

Current Supreme Pro Wrestling Champion Adam Thornstowe was announced on Sep 12 as one of the first 4 entrants in the tournament to crown the 1st Ground Zero Wrestling Champion. The Tournament will be held on October 13 in Modesto, CA.

World Wrestling Entertainment has signed one of the most underrated in-ring performers of all time, former WCW star Brad Armstrong. Armstrong will be starting in a few weeks with the ECW brand. As irony would have it, his brother Scott was hired for the ECW brand as a referee last month.

Nikolai Volkoff finished a distant last in the Baltimore Republican primary that he was running in, garnering only 582 votes.

Kamala will make his singing debut at The Underscore in Manhattan, NY on October 31. For more information, go to www.bedofnailz.com/halloween

The Naturals have been announced as one of the 8 teams entered in the Triple Chance Tag Team Battle Royal at TNA No Surrender.

There was some speculation about why certain wrestlers who work for Jerry Lawler?s Memphis promotion did not appear at the Mid-South Allstar Wrestling show this past Friday. In the past, several Memphis guys have worked MAW shows. Rasslinriotonline.com has an articled up indicating that someone from MAW papered the UPN30 studio parking lot at the last TV tapings. Lawler got upset and said ?If you work for them, you don?t work for us!?

On Jim Ross? lastest blog on his website, he defends himself against all the TNA fans that took him to task for comments he posted earlier in the week.

Robert Gibson?s brother, Ricky Gibson, passed away last week. Robert & Ricky held 5 different tag team titles together, mostly in the Southeast United States, for a combined 7 title reigns. Details are unavailable right now as to the cause of death or any arrangements. Oklafan sends its condolences to the Gibson family.

The Sooner Pro Wrestling show scheduled for Sep 23rd in Westville has been cancelled. SPW owners still intend to run shows in Oklahoma, but need to get licensing issues finalised before they can do so.

?Barbarian? John Nord?s son is currently an amateur wrestler at the University of Minnesota. He says Nord is selling cars about 30 minutes from campus. Nord?s son says he has no plans to become a second generation pro wrestler.
