- Wrestling Online has the artwork for the upcoming WWE DVD release "The History of the WWE Championship". The DVD will contain 3 discs and includes a comprehensive timeline with multimedia highlights from every title change hosted by RAW announcer Jim Ross. It will be released on September 5th.

- Mick Foley's profile has been removed from Raw Superstars page on WWE.com. However, Hacksaw Jim Duggan's profile has been added.

- At the WWE Raw House show in Canton, OH on August 25th, Jim Duggan defeated Rob Conway. Other matches included Triple H & Shawn Michaels defeating Viscera & Charlie Haas in the 1st match on a 3 match Gauntlet. At the WWE Raw House show in Youngstown, OH on August 26th, Duggan again defeated Conway, and Triple H & Michaels again defeated Viscera & Haas.

- The Raw angle last week involving Mick Foley joining Vince McMahon's "Kiss My Ass" club may lead to a Mr. McMahon vs. Foley match at Wrestlemania XXIII.

- Mick Foley's next book, titled 'Hardcore Diaries' is scheduled to be out in March of 2007 in a hardcover edition with 352 pages.

- Jake Hager, a wrestler from the University of Oklahoma, is training in Deep South Wrestling.

- The Brian Pillman DVD that is set to be released by WWE on September 26th includes matches with Pillman tagging with and facing several different wrestlers. Some of the other wrestles appearing on the DVD are Michael Hayes, Jimmy Garvin, Rick Steiner, Ric Flair, Ricky Morton, Shane Douglas, Sting, Paul Orndorff, and Rick Rude, among others.

- The Roddy Piper DVD that is set to be released by WWE on October 21st also includes matches with Piper tagging with and facing several different wrestlers. Some of the other wrestles appearing on the DVD are Rip Oliver, Jack Brisco, Greg Valentine, Paul Orndorff, and Rick Rude, among others.

- The WWE will release "Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology" on DVD on November 7th. Among some of the matches includes are:

February 18, 1985 vs. Roddy Piper for the WWF World Title Match at "The War To Settle The Score"

March 31, 1985 tagging with Mr. T vs. Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff at Wrestlemania

- The latest set of WWE Classic Superstars have a limited edition 3 pack of The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy, Buddy Roberts, & Michael Hayes). In fact one Tulsa wrestler recently purchased a set at the Wal-Mart off the Creek Turnpike in Broken Arrow.

- Jeff Jarrett will defend the NWA Title vs Samoa Joe in the main event of the September 29th United Wrestling Federation/TNA "Capital Punishment" event in Richmond, Virginia. Tickets for this event went on sale August 26th at www.UWFUSA.com. A.J. Styles, Latin American Xchange (Homicide, Hernandez, & Konnan), Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, America's Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris), Alex Shelley, Rhino, Abyss, and The James Gang (Kip & B.G. James) are all booked for the show.

- There is a new section to the Official Home of "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. You can now see videos of The Franchise in TNA courtesy of www.youtube.com and TNA Wrestling.

- TNA has added a video preview for their upcoming "Sting: Return of an Icon" DVD. You can view the video at the following link: http://www.tnawrestling.com/fullnews.php?home=810

- AAA has announced Jeff Jarrett, Konnan, Abyss, Senshi, Homicide, Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, Christy Hemme and Traci Brooks for its version of Summerslam dubbed Verano de Escandalo on 9/17 at El Toreo in Naucalpan at the 18,000 seat bullring. Pena's idea for the show is a AAA vs. TNA theme.

- With the recent movie release of "Snakes On A Plane", several publications have made reference to "Famous Snakes in History". Both the Cincinnati Enquirer (http://news.enquirer.com) and ESPN Magazine had such a story and referenced Jake "The Snake" Roberts in their story and pictured him as well.

- King Kong Bundy is scheduled to wrestle in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on October 14th for Independent Wrestling Manitoba.

- Greg Valentine, Ricky Morton, Koko Ware, Jake Roberts, and Kamala are among some of the superstars that will be on the World Championship Wrestling of America card at the Johanning Civic Center in Kokomo, IN on October 7th. There is also an autograph session scheduled with several of those superstars that same day.

- Big Vision Entertainment will nationally release "Viva Guerrero: A Tribute in Memory of Eddie Guerrero" on October 14th and will feature all three of Eddie's brothers, Mando Guerrero, Hector Guerrero, and Chavo Guerrero Sr. among others. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Eddie's wife and children.

- Ricky Morton will face Bobby Eaton at the Championship Wrestling event scheduled for the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport, TN on September 21st. If Morton wins this match, he gets 5 Minutes alone in the ring with Eaton's manager, Jeff Tankersley.

- The Rock-N-Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) will face The Midnight Express at the NWA Pro Wrestling event scheduled for the Cardinal Shehen Center in Bridgeport, CT on September 30th. No word as to what combo The Midnight Express will enter into the match.

- Former SRPW star Adam Thornstowe will face TNA's Samoa Joe at Ground Zero Wrestling's Heatstroke in Modesto, CA on September 9th. Go to www.GZWwrestling.com for more details.

- Add another set of titles to the already impressive resume of The Re-Gex (Seth Shai & Mace). The current IZW Tag Team Champions won the Asylum Championship Wrestling Tag Team Titles by defeating El Lotus & Rexx Reed at the last ACW show held in Wichita Falls, TX. Reed was substituting for Apollyon. When contacted by Oklafan, Mace commmented that The Re-Gex will probably continue to defend the titles in ACW after the company relocates to Colorado.

- Current IZW star Cade Sydal dislocated his knee at the last ACW show on August 20th. He is rehabbing it at home and will not miss any action due to injury. He is booked on September 2nd in Total Texas Wrestling.

- Current NWA-U star Spoiler 2000 will face Angel of Sinn at the September 2nd American Championship Wrestling show in Marshall, TX.

- Oklahoma wrestling legend Renegade is recovering after recent surgery on his lower back. His daughter attended the inaugural Compound Pro Wrestling show and said that he was recovering well, but not as swiftly as they anticipated. Oklafan would like to send Renegade their prayers and well wishes to a speedy recovery.
