7-16-06 NWA-TNA Victory Road PPV

A Jeff Jarrett video package is shown before the PPV starts.

Shane Douglas comes down to the ring for a promo. He says, "Have you heard the one about ECW? They lost a Franchise and gained a Dick...Flair." Says over the last 6 weeks, the Naturals have been on a journey. Shane told us that we wouldn't see them until they were ready and now they are. Says he swore on God, his father and Chris Candido that they would be ready. He promised to take them back to the NWA World Tag Team Titles. The Naturals come out. Shane goes to the back. Says he's not a babysitter.

The Naturals def. The Diamonds in the Rough (w/ Simon Diamond). Shane returns after the win and verbally berates them to make sure they don't get cocky.

NWA World Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels & A. J. Styles and Serelda def. America's Most Wanted and Gail Kim in a 6-person match where the World Tag Team Titles were on the line.

Sting def. Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and Scott Steiner in a Fatal 4-Way Match to earn a shot at the NWA World Title at the Hard Justice PPV in August. NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett disguised himself as a member of TNA security and came in the ring in the middle of the match, throwing gasoline in Sting's face which resulted in temporary blindness. But Sting returned to the match and pinned Scott Steiner to win.

7-17-06 WWE RAW

Mick Foley does a video promo. He says Ric Flair bragged about beating him at the last PPV. Foley remembers Flair being bludgeoned with his family in tears. Foley asks Flair to think about how much worse it could be. He says he wasn't actually trying to win the match. He wanted to leave Flair laying. He concludes by saying that he doesn't want to wrestle Ric Flair ever again and there will be no rematch.

Maria interviews Charlie Haas & Viscera. Maria asks if they can explain their actions from last week. Haas says they can. Viscera says they won't.

Another video promo from Mick Foley happens. He gives a shoutout to Melina. He says he was impressed with Flair's match against ECW World Champion The Big Show last week, but it was all for vain. He says Flair will get no rematch with Foley. He says that he did 3 things: he came, he saw and he kicked Ric Flair's old ass. He says if Flair wants to be like him, Flair should wear flannel. He says Flair is out of Foley's life. Ric Flair comes to the ring. He says he got his ass kicked last Tuesday. Video footage of that match is shown. Flair says it's not his 1st ass-whipping and it won't be his last. He says he wants Mick Foley in a match with Hardcore Rules. He tells Foley to quit talking and whining. At this point, WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro & Melina come out. Nitro reminds Flair that they are personal friends of Mick Foley. They say Flair doesn't get it. They say Flair is out of Foley's life and means nothing to him. They say Flair can stand out here and challenge for a rematch, but he'll get no answer from Foley. Melina "Whooo!"s in Flair's face and Nitro then suckerpunches Flair from behind. Flair fights back. He goes to put Nitro in the Figure-4 Leg Lock, but Melina distracts him. Flair pushes Melina off the ring apron, causing her to (apparently) hurt her ankle. Nitro comes to her rescue. He says he'll sue Flair. Flair apologises to Melina. He tells them to tell Foley "Whooo!".

7-20-06 NWA-TNA iMPACT!

The Naturals def. Maverick Matt & Frankie Kazarian. Shane Douglas introduces them, then leaves the ring area. After the match, Shane returns upset. He slaps Chase Stevens in the face. Andy Douglas says they won, but that doesn't matter to Shane, who notes that Douglas was caught at one point with his back on the mat in a pinning predicament. The 3 then leave for the backstage area together.

NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner come out to the broadcast table area. Jarrett asks Mike Tenay if he (Jarrett) looks stupid. He says he knows what Sting is trying to do. Earlier in the show, Jay Lethal announced that he was going to use his title shot that he earned last week to challenge for the NWA World Title, instead of the X Division Title which everyone expected him to do. Lethal said Sting encouraged him to do this. Jarrett says Sting robbed Lethal of the X Division title shot. He says Sting conned him into a division he doesn't belong in. He says Sting doesn't want to face him at Hard Justice. Tenay tells Jarrett to go into his ring gear because he has an NWA World Title defence later that night.

NWA World Tag Team Champions A. J. Styles & Christopher Daniels come out to the ring. Daniels says it's good to stand there as the World Tag Team Champions. He says many teams in the back have a problem with them holding the titles. He quotes Team 3-D as saying they (A. J. & Daniels) might be the future of TNA, but they weren't a true team. He asks A. J. how they silence the critics. A. J. tells Daniels to calm down and hands him some envelopes with contracts. There are contracts for title shots for EVERY team in TNA: Team 3-D, the James Gang, The Naturals, Christian Cage & Sting. Konnan stands up from the Spanish Announce Booth and says he bets they don't have a contract for the Latin American Xchange. He says Styls & Daniels have no "juevos" and no heart. A. J. tells Konnan to shut up. He & Daniels come out of the ring, go over to the Spanish Announce Booth and throw a contract in Konnan's face. LAX attacks Daniels & Styles. Daniels ends up being busted open in the confrontation and Konnan signs the contract with Daniels' blood.

NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett def. Jay Lethal when Scott Steiner hits Lethal with a steel pipe, allowing Jarrett to hit the Stroke from the 2nd rope and make the pin. After the match, the lights go out in the arena and when they come back up, Sting is in the middle of the ring. He attacks Jarrett & Steiner. Security comes out to seperate them as the show ends.
