Striker Officially Retires

Yep just a couple of weeks from being 3 months since I had my surgery. It's been a long 3 months too. Thanks to all of you who have checked on me over this time. I have been kind of hiding in the shadows away from the wrestling world. I have made it to only one show since I have been away and truthfully I wish I would have stayed away from it. Wrestling is my drug. It's all or nothing for me. Watching that one show was like an alcoholic trying to just drink one beer. I thought I was ready to be able to handle just going to a show and hanging out and having fun. But all it did was make it worse and make me want to be right back in that ring.

I'm not going to sit here and write a book because frankly it's just too hard on me. One day I will look back at everything and write away but right now I just can't dig the words out that I want to say.

I know a lot of ppl use the word retirement way way loosely. I will not use that word because truthfully I never actually had a career in wrestling. I love it, respect it and will always defend it but what did I really do in it?

So here we go........
Once the Dr got inside and started the surgery he noticed and I quote "over 50 different injuries" to that area. The risk of getting in the ring again are way to high for me to ever take that chance again. After 11 of the most fun filled and entertaining years of my life....I'm done. I can never ever express the appreciation and many thank yous that are due to many many ppl that I have crossed paths with over the years. I have met some amazing people and went far beyond where I thought I could get in this business.

To all of my friends, brothers, fans, etc.....I love you all.
Please never stop respecting the business, your colleagues and most important...yourselves.
