NEWS
Reports are swirling that Mick Foley has signed a deal to join TNA in mid-September when his WWE deal runs out. TNA is already planning on Mick Foley merchandise. Foley threw out the first pitch at a recent Cleveland Indians game and in response to the internet rumors that he has signed with TNA, he reportedly said, "Well, I can say that is not true, though I may try out a pay-per-view with them," He apparently was oblivious to the rumors. Foley's contract with the WWE is set to expire this Monday, September 1st, so he cannot legally sign with TNA until then.

Mick Foley's page and his bio has been officially removed from the WWE Smackdown page. When you click on Foley's bio, you get an error that reads "The page you are looking for cannot be found." Foley's bio page has since been moved to the WWE Alumni section.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was in Los Angeles recently to visit his agent. His wife Tiffany VanDemark accompanied The Natureboy.

Kevin Lawler, son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler, has been released from jail after being arrested this week on charges of trespassing and aggravated burglary. According to police records, a woman asked Lawler to clean her carpets, and she gave him a key to her house. The victim said Lawler later returned the key, but she believes he made a copy. Lawler is charged with entering her house without permission, surprising both the woman and her boyfriend. Lawler wrestled professionally as Kevin Christian.

The first 100 paying fans at West Coast Wrestling Association's Erin O'Grady Cup event in Concord, CA on September 13th will receive a free strictly limited edition sheet of WCWA Trading Cards, featuring an unpublished photo of the late Erin O'Grady (AKA Crash Holly), along with the likes of Adam Thornstowe, Mother Truckin' Otis, Luster the Legend, The Bad Apples, Sir Samurai, Hollywood Jason Vega and more. Thornstowe regrettably will not be attending the event as he will be traveling to Harley Race's school in Missouri that weekend.

TAP has postponed their September 21st event due to a scheduling conflict. A replacement date will be announced in the next week.

The diagnosis on Brett Taylor is that he has torn ligaments in his ankle. A recovery time has not been estimated yet. This could put the match with him & Tyson Armstrong vs. TAP Tag Team Champions The Innovators at the next TAP event in jeopardy.
