WWE ID Men’s Champion Cappuccino Jones reveals the WWE All Stars game and Rey Mysterio winning the WWE Championship inspired him to become a wrestler: "I got into wrestling when I was 11 years old through WWE All Stars. I was playing the demo at my cousin's house. Fast forward a couple months, I was like 'You know what? That All Stars game I played was pretty good,' so I got SmackDown vs Raw 2009. I was slightly disappointed because they weren't humongous and doing like dropkicks turned into backflips and all that, but you know what, we were still playing it. First time ever watching Raw, monumental episode, the day after CM Punk won his WWE Title at Money in the Bank and ran off. I'm watching Rey Mysterio vs The Miz, this is the first match I'm seeing. I see Rey become WWE Champion and I audibly said in that moment, 'I'm going to be a WWE Superstar.'"
WWE uploaded a 22-minute vlog chronicling A. J. Styles’ final four months in WWE. The bulk of the footage obviously comes from the “Royal Rumble” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Styles had his final match against Gunther. The vlog shows Styles interacting with the likes of Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, C. M. Punk, and many other WWE stars before his match, and then coming back to a weeping and silenced Gorilla Position after his loss. After going through Gorilla and going to a private area away from everyone, Styles is then hugged by everyone on the roster, some of whom, like Xavier Woods, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, R-Truth, and others, all emotional just like him. WWE will pay tribute to Styles this coming Monday on “WWE Monday Night RAW” live from his hometown of Atlanta, GA.
New WWE Vault additions include Scott Steiner & Booker T vs. Triple H & Batista from the February 17, 2003 edition of “WWE Monday Night RAW”, and The Ultimate Warrior vs. Sgt. Slaughter from a house show in London, Ontario, Canada that took place on February 16, 1991.
WWE uploaded the full Ethan Page vs. Shiloh Hill North American Championship Match that headlined “NXT” on Tuesday night.
There was a Portland Wrestling Expo and Hall of Fame ceremony on February 14th at the Holiday Inn at the Portland Airport in Oregon. The inductees into the Portland Wrestling Hall of Fame were Dutch Savage, one of the territory’s biggest stars ever, Buddy Rose, another one of the biggest stars, announcer Don Coss, and The Grappler, the hero of MMA star Chael Sonnen. Savage, Rose, and Coss were all inducted posthumously. Among those attending included Charles “The Godfather” Wright, Paul Ellering, Minoru Suzuki, Ken Patera, Tom Prichard, The Grappler, Jules Strongbow, Rip Rogers, Teal Piper, The Equalizer, Joey Jackson, and The Bollywood Boyz (Gurv Sihra & Harv Sihra).
Paul Walter Hauser will be playing Mick Foley in an unnamed television pilot.
There was a question on last week’s episode of “Trivial Pursuit” about the “8th Wonder of the World” who was the first person inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The contestant correctly guessed it was Andre the Giant.

Michael Hayes posted a tribute to former WWE director Kerwin Silfies following his passing: “I was so sorry to hear about Kerwin passing. Kerwin was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met at WWE. You may think you don’t know Kerwin, but, you know his body of work. If there was ever a WWE childhood memory you have, it was most likely directed by Kerwin from 1985-2020. Kerwin will surely be missed. NEVER FORGOTTEN!! RIP Kerwin”.
Shawn Michaels also sent his condolences to Silfies’ family and friends: “The @WWE family lost a very special part of our team. Kerwin Silfies was our Director during my entire career. If you were there, you know how important that role was. He helped shape the sound, the feel, and the rhythm of what fans watched every week. Raw, SmackDown, WrestleMania… he was in the chair, leading the way. Kerwin loved the work. He loved the crew. And he took pride in getting it right. I’m grateful I got to work alongside him. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who called him a friend.”
Jeff Jarrett, Stephanie McMahon, Mark Henry, Matt Hardy, and The Blue Meanie are among the others who posted tweets remembering Silfies.
Oklafan is saddened to report the death of The Original Oklahoma Outlaw, who passed away February 15th from cancer at the age of 76. Outlaw, whose real name was Gerald Perry, is known to have competed in many independent federations in the Georgia and Alabama areas, though documentation of those matches is not readily available. At one point in his career, he competed under a mask as The California Knight. But his time in Oklahoma was spent exclusively as a referee, initially for SWCW and then later for his son-in-law's federation, ASP. Outlaw was highly regarded in ASP as a referee, voted Referee of the Year in 2021 and inducted into the SWCW Hall of Fame in 2023. Ironically, though he had retired a few years before this, he won the ASP All-Time Title twice at the last ASP event held before his death, November 28, 2025. Upon his death, ASP announced that the title would be deactivated at the same time, making Outlaw truly the All-Time Champion for the company. Oklafan extends condolences to Outlaw's friends and his family, which includes his daughter Amanda Barricade, son-in-law Brandon Barricade, and his grandson Brixton Barricade.
