Tyler Midas appeared on the November 14th edition of “NWA Powerrr”. He was one of the applicants in the “Who Wants To Be A Spectacular?” segments, hoping to be admitted the newest member of The Spectaculars. He received scores of 10/10 from Rolando Freeman and 4/10 from both Rush Freeman and Billy Corgan.

Beginning with “Fighting Spirit Unleashed” last month, Walker Stewart took over as the lead play-by-play announcer for New Japan Pro Wrestling English-language broadcasts. Kevin Kelly's longtime NJPW broadcast colleague Chris Charlton wrote: “Nothing but gratitude for what Kevin has done for me personally and for the wrestling community at large. Walker’s off to a great start and we’re on track for parity or near parity with live English/Japanese in 2024, thanks to the groundwork Kevin has laid.”

Tony Schiavone hopes Sting brings back his classic look for his last match. As previously announced, Sting will wrestle his last match at “AEW Revolution” in 2024. AEW then brought in Ric Flair to accompany “The Icon” on his last run. Speaking on “What Happened When”, Tony Schiavone commented on Ric Flair joining AEW and noted that he is honored to be associated with “The Nature Boy” and Sting. “[Announcing him to the ring] was surreal. It really was,” Tony Schiavone said. “I was really thrilled about doing it. I was talking to Sting on Saturday, when we were in Oakland, and we were giving each other a hard time, as you do. There was a bunch of guys standing around, and I said, ‘Yeah, I remember the first time I stuck the microphone in front of Sting at the TBS studios.’ “I said Sting was so blown up, he couldn’t get words out. Sting says, ‘I don’t remember that.’ I said, ‘Well, it’s on video if you’d like me to pull it up.’ But both have been such phenomenal performers, and I’ve said this many times. I’m honored to be tied to them in some way.” Tony Schiavone continued by stating that people would love to see Sting come out as Surfer Sting in his last match. “I really would like for Sting, for his last match, to come out as Surfer Sting, wouldn’t you? Blond the hair, spike it up. It would be great,” he said. “A lot of people would love to see it. Maybe we can convince him to do it.” Before he took on his iconic black-and-white-look, Sting wore brighter colors for his face-paint and spiked his blond hair. As of this writing, there is no word on who the legend will face in his last match. At “AEW Full Gear”, he will team up with Darby Allin and Adam Copeland to face Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne.

Mickie James has been removed from the online roster page by Impact/TNA. James returned to the company for a third time in 2021 at “Slammiversary” confronting Deonna Purrazzo. Since then, James went on to win the Knockouts World Championship two more times making her a five time champion. She relinquished her fifth title reign due to injury earlier this year prior to the “Rebellion” event. She won her fifth championship at the end of her “Last Rodeo” storyline where she was determined to win the title or if she lost any matches leading up to the championship match (including the title match) she would have hung up her boots. James recently returned from injury and went for the championship once again in a losing effort against the current champion Trinity. James’ husband, Nick Aldis, was recently hired by WWE to be a producer and is currently the General Manager on the “SmackDown” brand. James has had two runs with WWE with her last one coming to an end in 2021 when she was released from the company.

Among the full matches and segments added to WWE’s YouTube page last week included Goldberg wiping out security to get to Brock Lesnar from the November 14, 2016 edition of RAW.

The new poster for “The Iron Claw” movie has been released and it features quite an interesting tidbit. At the bottom of the poster where the credits are displayed, one of the executive producers listed is Maxwell Jacob Friedman, the current AEW World Champion, M. J. F., who also has a role in the movie playing Lance Von Erich. "27 years old. Executive producer for an A24 movie and a masterpiece by Sean Durkin. Proud is an understatement. However I don’t have time to celebrate," M. J. F. wrote on X after the poster was published. "I’m a man on an island surrounded by the enemy, and Nov 18th will be my hardest obstacle yet." Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, and Harris Dickinson are featured on the new poster. They play the roles of Kevin, Kerry, and David respectively in the movie. Stanley Simons, Holt McCallany, Maura Tierney, and Lily James play Mike, Fritz, Doris, and Pam Von Erich respectively. The synopsis of the movie reads, “The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.” The movie is written and directed by Sean Durkin and is released in theaters nationwide on December 22nd. The view the poster on X, click here.

Zac Efron discussed the transformation he went through to play Kevin Von Erich in the film “The Iron Claw”: (When) you’re playing a real person and it’s a true story, there’s an extra bit of motivation to get things as honest and real as possible. And I knew that going into this after watching the footage of Kevin in the ring that the physicality was gonna be the hardest thing to get right. So I started training probably six months before and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Kevin Von Erich was introduced at Sunday's Dallas Cowboys game and got a nice reaction. Marshall Von Erich put it up on X.

The documentary "Out In The Ring", looking at the history of LGBTAIA+ participants in pro wrestling, aired on FUSE on Wednesday night. It features stories on wrestlers Sonny Kiss, Dani Jordyn, Pollo Del Mar, Effy and 70s star Susan Green.
