In a new interview with "Sunday Night’s Main Event", AEW star Ethan Page discussed how everybody in the standard men’s locker room wants to see each other succeed, but when it comes to people who have special locker rooms, he just frankly doesn’t care. This could mean any number of talents, from CM Punk, to The Elite or even Tony Khan himself. “Yeah, of course. You’re looking at a roster filled with people that spent years kind of starving together. So, there’s that pocket of the locker room that has a certain bond and comradery that will never go away. But like, as far as the whole company… I don’t know. The only thing I know is what happens in the room that has male talent across it. Anyone else that has a name on their door… I don’t go in there, I don’t know what happens in there, I don’t know what their relationships are with the other wrestlers on the roster, nor do I care. If you don’t change with me, I don’t care.” “I have a question, who cares? Who cares? Literally, who cares? Who’s keeping score? You don’t need to know what our relationships are like behind the scenes, watch the damn show. We don’t need to like each other.” Ethan Page is currently a part of The Firm, a faction in AEW that is on retainer for M. J. F.

Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara are the latest to have their real-life problems brought to social media for the world to read and despite the two not being involved in any kind of storyline together at the moment, shit hit the fan on Twitter. Andrade, speaking in an interview with Más Lucha, said that Guevara complained before that during a previous match, he was hit hard. Andrade later then went to confront Guevara face-to-face to see if there’s a problem and Guevara said there wasn’t any. But yesterday on Twitter, Guevara fired the first reply. “You are a jobber. A favor hire. Be grateful bitch,” he wrote. At that point it was unclear who he was exactly referring to but Andrade took notice and replied. “I said it to your FACE if you had a problem with me and you said NOTHING,” El Idolo wrote. “I won’t beat your bass because I’m a professional, don’t be scared. When I say something I name names, and I’m not scared to get fired,” he added, writing #Sammy to end the tweet. Guevara refuted the claims that Andrade went to confront him and called him a liar, an ungrateful prick, and someone who would be jobless if it wasn’t for his father-in-law (Ric Flair). “Are you really mad at me or mad at yourself for failing to get over for a SECOND time,” Guevara wrote. “Just go back to WWE like we all know you want to do & f*ck off.” Andrade told him that he’ll see him Wednesday and he’ll tell him to his face again. Meanwhile, Jose the Assistant, who accompanies Andrade in AEW, said he was there for this “incident” when it happened, backing his colleague. “Good thing (no one) in AEW can translate Spanish to English!” he added, with an emoji with hands to cover his mouth.
According to TMZ and later confirmed by Fightful Select, AEW stars Sammy Guevara and Andrade El Idolo got into a backstage fight ahead of Wednesday evening’s "Dynamite" from Washington D.C. Reports are that the two men confronted each other following their dispute on Twitter two days ago, which stemmed from Andrade’s unkind comments about Guevara during his interview with Más Lucha. Guevara apparently pushed Andrade and the two started exchanging blows, although TMZ is unsure if anyone suffered any damage. TMZ stated that both men were sent home, but Guevara appeared in an AEW segment and wrestled in the main event of the show. There was a report about how some of the backstage talent were unhappy with how Guevara and Andrade handled themselves after the locker room, specifically Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Chris Jericho, worked very hard to get things back on track after the incident at "All Out" between CM Punk and The Elite. Tony Khan had pulled Andrade from Friday’s AEW Rampage earlier today. It is now known why.
This week’s episode of Sammy Guevara’s vlog is now available by clicking here.
Pro Wrestling NOAH uploaded videos with Sting and Tony Khan discussing The Great Muta.
Daniel Cormier and Karrion Kross & Scarlett were interviewed on WWE’s "The Bump" last week in advance of "Extreme Rules".
WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded A. J. Styles, Omos, & Bobby Lashley vs, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, & Xavier Woods) in a 6-Man Tag Team Match from "Extreme Rules 2021".
Ric Flair recently talked about a wide range of topics on his "To Be The Man" podcast. During it, he addressed whether he will wrestle again after seeing that Ricky Steamboat is having another match. Steamboat will be teaming with F. T. R. (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. Jay Lethal, Brock Anderson, & a mystery partner that Arn Anderson will manage at a Big Time Wrestling show on November 27th at Dorton Arena in Raleigh, NC. Steamboat declined to be part of Ric Flair’s last match at Starrcast V in July. Flair teamed with son-in-law Andrade against Jeff Jarrett and Lethal. “When I say it inspires me to want to do it again, it’s not that I couldn’t. I will stand by this. I wish I hadn’t said it was my last match, and I don’t want to disappoint a bunch of fans by doing it again, but I got myself into good shape. Then I made what turned out to be a drastic mistake by not hydrating, but I feel great. I feel like as long as you’re healthy, you should do what you want to do when you get to my age. I mean, you know, I feel like we limit ourselves to what people think we should be doing sometimes as opposed to what we’re doing. What the hell? I can do that and probably better’, and he probably will. You know he’ll look better. He always has and always will.”
Jim Cornette gave his thoughts on various topics, including the way WWE has booked Austin Theory during his "Jim Cornette Experience" podcast. Cornette spoke about how Theory used to be the chosen one under Vince McMahon, but since Triple H has taken over creative, that has changed. Cornette also noted that he thinks Theory has all the tools needed to be a star in the industry. “Austin Theory, what have they done to my boy?,” said Cornette. “He did a backstage interview and it was more noticeable here because he’s a guy that wants to look at people he’s talking to, and wants to as a cocky heel. You could tell he’s trying not to look at the camera because they’re still telling, for whatever reason that Vince [McMahon] had in his demented mind, the talent still in a pre-tape backstage with an interview will not look at the camera because Vince didn’t like that. This guy was going to be the chosen one, he got the Money in the Bank briefcase, he was Vince’s [McMahon] protege. He’s a tremendous worker. He’s got the physical tools, everything. And now just, whatever he did to piss whoever off since Vince has been gone he’s a flunky. He’s clinging to that Money in the Bank briefcase by a thread and that is the only thing he’s got in his back pocket. And he had that before they started this tear-down project.”
JesSICKa was a guest on the "Women’s Wrestling Talk" podcast. When asked about who helped her the most during her run in Impact Wrestling, she said “I would have to say that there are two people who have helped me I feel more than anyone and that would have to be Madison Rayne and Gail Kim and actually you know what Christy Hemme as well. When I was at TNA being Havok and stuff like I always remember Christy was in my corner and always supportive always and Christy is like, incredibly creative. So I would have to say it would be those three women who have helped me the most. My match with Madison Rayne at the Knockouts Knocked Down Match or show all those years ago is actually what got me my job at Impact. She does it because it does what it takes to have a good match. We've always had really good chemistry. I think I've known Madison Rayne the longest out of everyone in wrestling. She was my first friend in wrestling. There's a lot of history that people don't realize, but Madison Rayne was honestly, she was someone who helped me greatly. Then Gail Kim, obviously like it just takes someone to believe in you. I don't know if Havok would have been so successful the first time around on TV if she did not have an opponent like Gail Kim.”
Deadline.com is exclusively reporting that Holt McCallany has been cast to play the role of Fritz Von Erich in the upcoming Von Erichs biopic entitled "The Iron Claw". The movie has already cast Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and Jeremy Allen White. Sean Durkin is writing and directing while Tessa Ross, Derrin Schlesinger, and Harrison Huffman are producing it. “Based on the true story of the Von Erichs, the film follows the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day,” Deadline says about the movie.
