In an interview with Paste Magazine to promote Sunday’s "Double or Nothing", Sting discussed stepping back in the ring for his first match since 2015. Sting said that one of his main focuses is working on his mobility as now he doesn’t recover as quickly as he used to because of his age. He admitted that he still feels the effects from the power bomb he took from Brian Cage in February. “I’m trying to get the heart rate up as much as I possibly can, so the stamina’s there to go with these young guys. Yeah, I’m getting ready – I am ready,” Sting said. The former WCW champion is looking forward to the match though regardless of the pain that will come afterward. “It’s exciting. Especially exciting because we’ll have a full crowd,” Sting remarked. Sting also had high praises for the AEW locker room, saying that they all march in the same direction and to the same beat. There isn’t really any factions or cliques or groups of people. Everybody is looking out for everybody and everybody wants AEW to succeed,” Sting continued, mentioning the great unity everyone shares.

Tony Khan himself was the guest of the AEW’s Unrestricted Podcast this week. On it he said about Sting wrestling in front of a live crowd again: “I just think it’s gonna be a really electric moment, and I’m excited we all get to be a part of it, and everybody who watches Double or Nothing gets to be a part of it. It’s pretty cool.” You can listen to the entire podcast by clicking here.

AEW hosted the first post-pandemic Fan Fest Saturday as part of the "Double or Nothing" weekend in Jacksonville, Florida. Activities started at 12:30pm and ran throughout the rest of the day. There were two areas where fans could go to: Main Stage and Flex Field. Main Stage held a Critical Botch event between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Between 2:45PM and 3:45PM there were live matches. An AEW Unrestricted Podcast live taping started at 4PM and ran till 5PM and then it was the closing event at 5:15PM with the weigh-ins and press conference until 6:15PM. The meet and greets took place at Flex Field. Cody Rhodes, Kris Statlander, Christian Cage, and Darby Allin were there from 12:30PM to 1:30PM. Thunder Rosa, The Young Bucks, Matt Hardy, and Miro took over from 2PM to 3PM. And Hangman Page, Orange Cassidy, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, plus Hikaru Shida were from 3:30PM to 4:30PM. These meet and greets were located on tables one to four. Tables five to seven held Bear Country, Red Velvet, and Top Flight from 12:30PM to 1:30PM. Ricky Starks, The Acclaimed, and Leyla Hirsch were there from 2PM and 3PM, and Aaron Solow, Will Hobbs, and Varsity Blonds met fans between 3:30PM and 4:30PM. A collection of AEW relics and artifacts and toys from Jazwares were also displayed.

Finn Balor spoke with Ryan Satin on "Out of Character" to promote Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT where he took on Karrion Kross for a second time with the NXT Title on the line. During it, he put over Kross in a big way. “I really had no idea what to expect when I stepped in the ring with him. I knew he was strong. I knew he was talented. I knew he had a lot of potential. When I was in the ring with him, when we locked up, I knew this guy has it. On every level.” “I’m eagerly looking forward to the rematch on NXT. And I’m looking forward to it for a lot more reasons than I was the first one,” he added. “The first one I knew there was gonna be a big match aura, obviously. Two entrances, the similar stories of relinquished titles, came back, now fighting over the same title and it had a built in story. Now, I’m just looking forward to the fact that I just get to wrestle him again, because I think he’s got all the tools. He’s gonna be a huge star in the future.”

On "Jeopardy" last week, the following answer was used: “This organization’s first ‘King of the Ring’ tournament saw the Magnificent Muraco defeat the Iron Sheik in the final.” The contestant answered "What is WWE" and was deemed correct.

WWE star Jaxson Ryker was a recent guest on the "Wrestling Inc. Daily" to discuss a number of different subjects, including Ryker’s brief run with TNA wrestling, and how Terry Taylor was a key component to that happening. In regards to how Terry Taylor helped get his foot in the TNA door, Ryker said “Terry Taylor helped me get my foot in the door [in TNA], I owe a lot to Terry. As a matter of fact, WrestleMania morning I texted Terry and told him, ‘Hey, you’ve been with me a long time, you’ve helped me so much’ and thanked him. But he got my foot in the door in TNA and from there it was really on me. I drove down a year and a half, me and a couple of other guys. They paid us, they paid for our room and board at that time. It was one of those paying dues. I drove down to do a security role, I stood behind Dixie Carter or wherever. It was one of those, ‘I want an opportunity and will do whatever it takes.’ And lo and behold in 2010 I signed the first contract with them and I got stuck with Immortal, Hulk Hogan, and those guys, and built a relationship with those guys. I knew it was my opportunity and given the opportunity I would continue to shine.”

WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded Seth Rollins vs. Jinder Mahal from the May 28, 2018 episode of RAW.

Both A&E and Vice have competing Ultimate Warrior documentaries, one of which was sanctioned by WWE, while the other one was not. The A&E Network Warrior doc was part of the Biography series which is currently airing as part of a three-hour WWE block along with "WWE Most Wanted Treasures" that aired last week. Over at Vice, the Warrior episode is the fourth of season three of "Dark Side of the Ring", a production which has no input from WWE and no under-contract WWE Superstars appear on it, and aired on May 27th. On Instagram, Warrior's wife Dana was asked if she was aware of the "Dark Side of the Ring" project. "I had no part in this project," Dana replied. "Smut and filth does not rise to my note." Warrior's ex-wife Shari Tyree was involved in the Vice production of the Warrior documentary, and those docs often focus more on the darker side, hence the name. After severing his relationship with WWE, Warrior came back and formed a close relationship with Vince McMahon and after he passed away, WWE went to great lengths to take care of Dana and her two daughters.

Dave Hillhouse of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "A&E/WWE 'Biography' opens up the whole book on The Ultimate Warrior", which you can read by clicking here.

Bar Wrestling reportedly shut down last June after allegations against promoter/Owner Joey Ryan became public during the Speaking Out Movement. Several months later, Ryan continues to make headlines; he recently claimed that he’s not trying to return to wrestling, so it’s fair to wonder what the future holds for Bar Wrestling. Last Monday,, the company tweeted "There’s a false narrative going around that we’ve closed up shop. We’ve never declared that and are strongly considering a return as pandemic restrictions are lifted."

John Powell of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "Wins and Losses Matter: Goldberg", which you can read by clicking here.
