Tito Santana has a new 2020 interview about his career. You can watch it here

Tony Khan spoke to the New York Post about Jimmy Havoc and Sammy Guevara’s suspensions: “I suspended them both. Very different situations. I just needed to address both. We are addressing both. I think Jimmy really needed the counseling. If and when he were to wrestle again, the most important thing for himself and everybody here is that he sought treatment and counseling. When he asked for that help, we’re gonna help him. With Sammy, I think the right thing to do was to suspend him. The comments he made were horrible. I can’t defend them. I can’t even comment on them because they’re unspeakably bad. He has also done a different kind of counseling and he’s in a different kind of counseling and it’s a different kind of coaching. Everybody here, male and female pretty much up and down the roster we talked to felt like Sammy had no history of this kind of behavior. Really people were shocked Sammy had said that. Certainly, it’s an old clip. I think the video was four years old. I had never seen that video and it’s something I would have addressed with him before Sammy started here. I never had an opportunity to address it because I didn’t know it existed and neither did anybody else or if they did nobody told us. For both of them, we really needed to address the situation before talking about what to do in the future afterward. I didn’t want to rush into making a decision on either person, so it felt like until I had all the facts suspending was the right thing to do. Then I could make whatever the right decision is. I knew the right decision wasn’t for those guys to just come to TV and not address this stuff.”

The guests for the special PPV edition of The Bump on Sunday will include Seth Rollins, Hardcore Holly, D-Von Dudley and NBA star Kenny “The Jet” Smith. There will also be a watch along during that show that will feature Robert Roode, Mick & Noelle Foley, Drake Maverick, Keith Lee, JBL, and Sonya Deville.

The Bella Twins, Charlotte Flair, Stephanie McMahon, Naomi, Beth Phoenix, and Cathy Kelley were on Wednesday’s episode of The Bump. You can watch it here

Speaking in a two-hour broadcast on Talk'N Shop Live, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson spilled the beans over what happened and what led to their departure from WWE and they held nothing back. The former Raw Tag Team champions pretty much blamed Paul Heyman for getting released back in April and sent AJ Styles on a mission to find out the truth. Styles apparently confronted Heyman after there were some talk that it was Heyman who pushed for their firing. Heyman told Styles that he did not know they were getting released and swore that if he knew, he would have "gone to bat for them." Not believing Heyman, Styles then confronted the boss, Vince McMahon, and asked him to tell him the truth. "They weren't on my list, but yes, it was a Heyman thing," Vince replied to Styles. The relationship between Styles and Heyman is now well-documented and Styles moved to Smackdown and Heyman eventually got fired from his Executive Director role. Meanwhile, Anderson also discussed how when they were dealing for a new contract, Triple H told him to look at his kids and think about what if AEW doesn't last. "I can promise you one thing, WWE will always be here," Triple H told Anderson. "We stopped being boss and employee at that point and we were...obviously not friends, but two humans talking. I'm not saying that Triple H could have stopped anything or even cared, but hearing that from your boss and then having it happen, it's like damn, they don't give a f*ck," he said.

Impact’s Slammiversary ended with a big surprise as after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson celebrated in the ring with the new Impact champion Eddie Edwards, the screen went to black…for an EC3 video. The video was pretty short, showing EC3 in front of a brick wall holding a glass of whiskey, a throwback to those videos that Impact aired promoting some surprises for the show in a news segment format. He then turns around and slams the glass to the wall which had the III logo projected on it. He then comes back in the frame and stares straight into the camera before the screen once again fades to black. Impact Wrestling then confirmed that he would be making his return on this Tuesday’s episode of Impact on AXS TV. EC3 worked for TNA between 2013 and 2018, joining the company after a four-year stint with FCW and NXT. He’s a former two-time TNA World champion but his return to WWE fell flat, winning the 24/7 title only. His time in NXT was slightly better than his main roster adventure although considering the hype surrounding his arrival, WWE completely missed the boat with him.

EC3, Heath Miller (formerly known as Heath Slater), and Levy Valenz (formerly No Way Jose) posted videos hyping their returns to pro wrestling now that their non-compete clauses have expired after being released by WWE in April.
