NEWS
El Fuego del Sol was seen on "AEW Dynamite" this past week, participating in the pull-apart between Mike Tyson and his entourage and the Inner Circle at the end of the show.

Sgt. Slaughter gave the current AEW Champion some props on Twitter last week. "@JonMoxley "Congrats" on ur life after leaving the Flagship @WWE VERY happy for U, especially since I was the 1st to go up against "The Emperor" & fight for MY FREEDOM???? Luckily U got to bypass the lawsuits & courtroom appearances. Wishing U continued success," he wrote to Jon Moxley.

The "Chris Jericho Rock 'n' Wrestling Rager" cruise will be returning in 2021, titled "Triple Whammy". Set to sail to the Grand Bahama Island from Miami, FL between February 1st and 5th, the cruise will feature a ton of wrestling personalities from past and present along with musical performances from Fozzy, and a taping of "AEW Dynamite" from the ship. Announced so far for the cruise apart from Jericho are Ted DiBiase, Jim Duggan, Bully Ray, and Candice Michelle. The cruise will be onboard the Norwegian Pearl from Norwegian Cruises. A lot of different prices are available depending on type of rooms and amount of people sharing the same room. You can pre-book at ChrisJerichoCruise.com.

Ric Flair's new deal with WWE came at a price for the Nature Boy as Flair had to surrender the rights of "The Man" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and handed them over to WWE. In late August, Flair, through a new limited liability company in Georgia titled Ric Flair LLC, applied for the trademark with the USPTO and submitted an affidavit and consent for registration of the trademark "The Man". The affidavit stated that he is the living individual who uses, goes by, is known as, and have utilized the name "The Man" as one of his professional and business names in the United States as early as January 1, 1976. At the time, WWE were actively promoting Becky Lynch as "The Man" and there were some issues between WWE and Flair regarding the use of the name. A week or so after filing for the trademark, a pissed off Ric Flair told TMZ that he would let WWE use "The Man" as the gimmick for Becky Lynch as long as they pay him royalties for the trademark. Both parties went at it through their respective lawyers and Flair even told TMZ at the time that he would take legal action against WWE. His battle with the company also pissed off Flair's daughter Charlotte, who sided with WWE at the time. A search on the USPTO website now lists World Wrestling Entertainment as the owner of the trademark and a document filed on February 20th listed the date of May 18, 2020 when WWE would get full rights. The document states that the assignor, Ric Flair LLC, confirms that it sold, assigned, and transferred to WWE, its successors and assigns, as of May 18, 2020, all rights, title, interest, and related goodwill in and to the trademarks and all benefits, privileges, causes of action, and the executive rights to "The Man," allowing WWE to use and benefit of the mark and collect all past, present, and future infringements.

While Sting is no longer under a WWE contract, the WWE Network will be putting a Sting special on Sunday, May 31st. The website WWENetworkNews.com is reporting that "Sting: The Lost Tape" will feature never-before-seen and unreleased footage of Sting including interviews and other backstage highlights from the day of "WCW Slamboree 95" where he wrestled Big Bubba Rogers, the man also known as the Big Bossman. The short preview of Sting's special reads, "Featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews, cameras follow Sting backstage before his big match at WCW Slamboree 1995." On that night, the former WCW champion beat Rogers in a 10-minute match, a match which was followed by the main event of Hulk Hogan & Randay Savage vs. Ric Flair & Vader. Multiple industry insiders reported last week that Sting is no longer under a WWE deal and he is free to appear anywhere.

WWE uploaded the trailer for “Sting: The Lost Tape”. WWE Network News reported that the run time for the special is 27:03, with that also including Sting’s Lights Out Match against Big Bubba Rogers from "WCW Slamboree 95". The special follows Sting on the day of that PPV.
