Erik of the Viking Raiders came back ill from Saudi Arabia and went home for a few days, missing the house show Saturday and Sunday night.. The Raw side had Ricochet vs. Karl Anderson in the headline spot.

As he does almost every year, Jim Duggan was at the Variety Club Iowa Children's Charity telethon this past weekend.

John Pfanz was selected to participate in the “Tulsa Rising” song contest at the Gypsy Coffee House on March 21st. He was one of 8 contestants selected, playing punk folk under the name Gato Borracho.

Gail Kim, Christy Hemme, and Amy "Lita" Dumas are teaming up to create a new television show titled KAYfABE, a one hour show which is described as "50 percent story and 50 percent in ring action." The project was launched today on Kickstarter with a goal of $400,000 to be raised. "It is an edgy, racy, cinematic television series about a female led professional wrestling start up. This show is a dramatization and collection of female stories inspired by real life events," the description of the show reads. The show promises to take viewers behind the curtain, into the locker room and outside of the arena with drama, passion, humor, love, anger, frustration and real life challenges with real storylines of abuse of power, manipulation, injury, addiction, and inequality. The $400,000 budget is to get the pilot production, campaign rewards, platform fees and credit card processing, and operational costs. The trio hope to reach $4.8 million in funds to have an eight-episode season. Several rewards are being offered to those who contribute starting with $5. There are a few wrestling personalities attached to the show already including Tom Casiello, Jimmy Jacobs, Chavo Guerrero, and David Sahadi. Other names who will be part of the production team are Geordy Sincavage, Doug Lebow, Alisha Edwards, Curtis Blank, Bryan Edwards, Sebastian Sokolowski, Kevin Hooper, DS Shin, Shawn Zuzek, Javier Lovato, and Jeffrey Lamont Brown. Randy Orton took everyone to promo school Monday night on Raw, delivering one of his best promos of his career during the main event when he confronted Beth Phoenix. Phoenix was in town to give an update on the condition of her husband but she didn't get much chance to do that as Orton interrupted quickly. He told her that he owes her an explanation on why he attacked Edge the night after the Royal Rumble. Orton went over the history of the two together, explaining how he met Edge when he was 19 years old as a fan backstage, and then went on the wrestle him around the world for the Intercontinental title, and then together as Rated RKO. During his worst moments in his life, it was Edge who pulled him out of the hole he was in and learned to be a great father thanks to him. Randy continued saying that after the Rumble, he was worried that Edge would end up in a wheelchair if he continued wrestling so he had to do what he had to do so Edge at least could have a normal life with his daughters. Orton said he loved Edge, loved Beth, and loved their two daughters. He then flipped the script and blamed Beth for everything that happened, calling her an enabler. He said she should have seen it coming and should have stopped him from going beyond the Royal Rumble. Phoenix then slapped Orton and then Orton decided to call Beth a bitch, although not on the live mic. At that point, Beth kicked him but Orton responded by giving her an RKO, leaving her laying on the floor. Orton quickly exited the ring and several WWE Superstars and producers came out to help Phoenix. This was an incredible segment that will lead to Edge's return next week on Raw in Washington, DC.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts made his first live appearance for AEW during Dynamite, interrupting a Cody Rhodes promo. Roberts, who had one side of his head shaved, said he came out because he was tired of hearing Cody cry about his loss to MJF. “The only reason I’m here is because I have a client. The dark side will be coming to AEW,” Roberts said, as Cody looked confused. He told him he can bring his “one-trick pony” Arn Anderson with him too because it won’t matter. “I’m not in AEW to take the whole pie. Just your share,” Roberts said. Jake added that once, a wise man told him not to turn his back on someone he respects or is afraid of…and then he did exactly that to Cody, showing that he doesn’t respect him nor he is afraid of him.

Jim Ross was the guest on the AEW Unrestricted podcast Thursday.

WWE Universal champion Goldberg will be appearing as a guest star on this Sunday's NCIS: Los Angeles, reprising his role of DOJ Agent Lance Hamilton. This will be Goldberg's fourth appearance on the popular CBS show, having previously appeared in episodes One Of Us (season 10), Searching (season 10), Decoy (season 11), and now this one titled Watch Over Me. The episode also guest stars former boxing champion Evander Holyfield as NCIS Special Agent Sutherland. Shane McMahon also appeared on the show twice, playing the role of Steve Evans in episodes titled Searching (season 10) and Answers (season 11).

The movie "Beyond the Mat'' which focuses on Jake Roberts and Mick Foley is up on Netflix.

AJ Styles will be the guest on Tuesday's WWE Backstage.

PWInsider reported that Scott Steiner underwent a heart procedure Saturday after collapsing backstage at last night’s Impact tapings. Tommy Dreamer tweeted that Steiner is expected to make a full recovery.

Steiner’s wife Christa tweeted a message thanking everyone at Impact Wrestling for taking care of him: “First of all I went to thank everyone @IMPACTWRESTLING for taking such great care of my husband @ScottDAmore @THETOMMYDREAMER @johnnyswinger2 @JoeyRyanOnline @IMPACTWRESTLING & Cobb County EMTs. We appreciate all the well wishes, thoughts & prayers. He will make a [100 percent] recovery.”

Tino Valentino suffered a tear in his abdomen recently. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Oklafan is saddened to reprt the death of Rip Oliver, who passed away March 5th from heart failure. He was 67years old. Oliver, whose full real name was Larry Richard Oliver, was the 2nd of 3 generations of his family to compete in pro wrestling. His father was Ray Oliver and his son was Larry Oliver. Rip Spent the vast majority of his career in the Pacific Northwest territory and in that time he won 12 PNW Titles, more than anyone else. He also held the Pacific Northwest Tag Team titles 16 times with 9 different partners, including his son. But Rip was not completely exclusive to the Pacific Northwest. In 1985, Oliver found himself in WCCW, where he defeated Buck Zumhofe for the vacant WCCW Television Title on February 4th. Oliver never lost the title in the ring. Instead, on March 25th, he was stripped of the belt after making an unprovoked attack on Mike Von Erich. Shortly after that, he left the promotion. Oliver would then begin to compete in the WWF, primarily as a jobber. He even adopted the masked persona of the Super Ninja (the name of a former PNW Tag team Champion he held the titles with) and challenged the Ultimate Warrior for the WWF Intercontinental Title on Saturday Night's Main Event. Oliver would leave the WWF in 1990, returning to the Pacific Northwest, but would only compete for about another year when he was injured by Crush and forced to retire in 1991. Word broke last week from Billy Jack Haynes that Oliver had entered hospice and the announcement of his death came on the afternoon of March 5th. Oliver has 4 documented matches in Oklahoma. The earliest was a draw against Skip Young for WCCW in Wynnewood and the last was a victory over Scott Casey for WCCW in Mangum. Oklafan extends its condolences to Oliver's family and friends at this time.
