NEWS
Nine more WWE Superstars were drafted to Raw and Smackdown after they were not originally picked on Friday, making them “free agents.” EC3, Eric Young, and Sin Cara are now part of the Raw roster while Apollo Crews, Drew Gulak, Heath Slater, Tamina, and The B-Team – Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas – are now part of the Smackdown roster. Apollo Crews was never part of the Friday draft pool and was set for Monday’s draft. After these picks, Akira Tozawa, Cesaro, Chad Gable, and Humberto Carrillo remain free agents.

There is an Indiegogo fundraiser for Jessica Kresa (ODB) to help her replace her food truck that burned down in a fire. On 9/7, Kresa's food truck burned down. It was not only a major source of income but also a lifelong passion with cooking and meeting people. After sinking a fortune into her streamline, something caught fire late one night and the insurance company is only willing to recoup a small percentage of the total price. Perks are available at every level for those willing to donate including an autograph photo, signed ODB hot sauce, a personalized video, t-shirts, special packages as well as once in a lifetime opportunities including ring worn gear and memorabilia for pro wrestling collectors.

On Twitter, Eric Bischoff commented on Bruce Prichard replacing him as the executive director of SmackDown: “Bruce is a great producer, good friend and I am certain he is going to thrive in his position. He’s going to be working with a great team of the most dedicated and hard working people I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know.” WWE has confirmed that Bischoff is no longer with the company.

Bruce Prichard responded to the tweet Eric Bischoff sent yesterday: “Much love and respect to a great businessman, creator and friend. Thanks Eric” Bischoff had tweeted: “Bruce is a great producer, good friend and I am certain he is going to thrive in his position. He’s going to be working with a great team of the most dedicated and hard working people I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know.”

Lance Archer tweeted about winning the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship: “19+ yrs in wrestling. 3 major companies. (TNA,WWE,NJPW) 8+ yrs with @njpw1972 and on Oct 14th 2019 I was put in a unique position when an opportunity arose and won my first major singles title and became the 7th IWGP United States Champion! NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM!"

With a falls count anywhere match against The Fiend set for Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins has been removed from the five-on-five tag team match which he was originally announced for. Rollins was the first participant announced for the match, captaining Team Hogan. He was joined by Rusev and Ricochet but now Team Hogan has three more members to announce before the October 31 match against Team Flair. Team Flair has four out of five members announced, with Randy Orton as team captain, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Rollins will be defending the Universal title against The Fiend at Crown Jewel and with Wyatt drafted to Smackdown, it's highly unlikely that Wyatt gets the title unless he's moved back to Monday Night Raw.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted this week that the reason that Jake Hager has not wrestled for All Elite Wrestling yet is because there was a clause in his contract stating that he won’t wrestle until his fight on October 25 for Bellator MMA is done. Hager, the man formerly known as Jack Swagger, will be taking on Anthony Garrett on the show that will air on Paramount from the Mohegan Sun Casino. Garrett has a 4-2 MMA record and lost his last fight while Hager is 2-0 and still undefeated. On Dynamite, Hager is being pushed as the unstoppable MMA fighter and a loss would certainly hurt the gimmick. Hager did not want to get injured prior to the fight and is training hard on the other days he’s not with AEW for Dynamite.

Mick Foley is doing a coloring book for Grown-ups called "Cactus Jack and the Beanstalk" which will be out by Halloween for $11.95 through WOHW's Bledtime Stories.

Atlanta United did their best to get their Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs run started on an auspicious note on Saturday by selecting a local sporting legend for the pregame ritual of “hammering the Golden Spike." Wrestling icon Ric Flair did the honors in front of ATLUTD's supporters' section at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before the kickoff of their Round One clash with the New England Revolution, and the Nature Boy showed a lot more showmanship than your average 70-year-old

Ring announcer Justin Roberts announced that he’s officially signed an AEW contract: “Breaking ‘news’: 5 years to the week when it ended and I thought my final announcement had been made, the Khantract has been signed and it’s officially time to begin, again. Thank you to every one of you who has supported me over the years and asked me to ‘come back’. And thank you to AEW for believing in me. Tony, Cody, Nick, Matt, Kenny, Brandi, Dana, Chris’ and Co. have created something so special and as a fan and as an announcer, I am beyond excited and HAPPY to be part of it. #ImWithAEW #butonpapernow #BeginAgain #AEW #AEWDynamite #FollowYourDreams and just as importantly #NEVERGIVEUPONYOURDREAMS”
